Bon vivant
Just to put my opinion on the record again, I like Feeley. He's not garbage. I believe that he has the ability to improve the consistency of his game.
But he needs to do it.
But he needs to do it.

inFINSible said:I think it's a legitimate question that hasn't been addressed.
there are people that will tell you they KNOW that feeley isn't going to be a good QB....I've got a list of about 25 individuals who have guaranteed that Feeley will never be anymore than teh suckage. So why can't Saban see it? Why is he letting Feeley compete for the starting QB position on a team that Saban has spent many many years looking for? He wanted absolute power so that there would be no one but himself to blame if he fails, and he's so stupid that he's going to consider a QB who MB pundits have guaranteed to be a failure, as his starting QB?
What the he// is he thinking?
But AJ can't be "fixed" according to many posters on this board.Justasportsfan said:Mularkey wanted to see if he could fix Drew first. He later realized he couldn't. Now he's gone.

That insinuates that Saban can't evaluate talent on his own.
:shakeno:
It's a fact that Feeley is competing for the starting job. If Feeley is so obviously bad then what is Saban trying to do? Take time away from Sage's development?Canadianfishfan said:i dont believe Saban has really said anything. Carefully he has answered questions to the media with out saying a single thing. He's smart.... he doesn't want to mention anything that may affect Feeleys confidence.
Who starts opening day will say go far into what Saban thinks of Feeley.

For myself, I don't care who wins the starting job.
I trust that Saban and his staff will choose the best guy.
And that my friend is a reasonable statement. It is certainly not the "certain bust" type statement that I'm trying to shoot down with this thread.DrAstroZoom said:Just to put my opinion on the record again, I like Feeley. He's not garbage. that's their opinion and I'm leaning towards that but in the end, Saban knows best. This is why Saban brought Gus in. If AJ isn't his qb at least Gus will be a stop gap until Saban get's his future qb.inFINSible said:But AJ can't be "fixed" according to many posters on this board.
