I would totally support a move

Winners sells tickets period.Back before the Bucs got really good( the orange and white) days very few fans showed up,only die hards and ones wearing paper bags on their heads were there to watch their team get mauled,Insert a winning record and the belief that you may actually have a chance of doing something and watch how things change.there were people on waiting list to get season tickets down here to see the bucs for a few years when the were cosistantly winning.
Think of it this way People dont pay to watch losers(yes I love my Dolphins,and the truth hurts)
next time you see a pay per view event think about it.would you pay 50 bux to see Manny vs Floyd or cotto vs judah?
 
The organization needs to lower ticket prices. Lower parking prices. Lower concession prices.

It's ridiculously expensive to go to the game at our stadium. I always feel like I'm being gouged at Sun-Life. $25 for parking? Come on. It doesn't help that our team has only won one home game in the past year and a half either, like others have said.

Not to mention it's a pain in the butt getting to the stadium. It's in the middle of nowhere and 20 minutes away from both Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
 
I understand the true meaning to the gripe about my idea. Many of you locals that do attend games (or could) hate the thought of being inconvenienced in the event that you decided you would like to attend a game. I even read where one guy said he would root for the next Miami team. Are you a fan of the city or the team? Anyway, we are in two different thought processes here. I don't root for a team simply because it is local or because it is a popular choice in my neighborhood. If so, I'd be a Redskins fan (yuck)...which, by the way, is usually very hard to find tickets for. Can you say the same about the Dolphins games? Either way, I choose to root for the Dolphins regardless of where they represent. Yeah, tickets get sold, yada yada yada. I've heard on several occasions where a radio station steps in to buy them. But according to someone on here, that is all Ross cares about. I guess selling $50 worth of beer, hot dogs, etc... doesn't really matter to him. This thread is not about individual fans, people. How long would you try to sell air conditioners in Alaska before realizing it just won't sell like it should? You don't have to agree with me. Your approval is not a prerequisite for me having a good opinion.

I think the NFL (as a whole) should lower ticket prices. The $ figures that I've seen in relation to Dolphins games really seems low in comparison to what I have spent attending a Baltimore game when Miami comes to town.
 
I think a move is coming...With every other bottom dweller starting strong this year (Was,Det,Ect) the Mia cannot get up off the canvas. It has all the markings of a franchise on the wayout.

If the fan base is disillusioned...the move is easier.

Our approval is not a prerequisite for you having an opinion, but for you to presume it is a "good opinion" is a bit much. Your comment was inane. You're blaming the victims. Don't blame fans for not showing up when the product is garbage and the incompetence is undeniable. Every fan down here knows that ownership was writing off the season before it began. Failure to fire the incumbent regime proved that. Miami is not Cincinnati. Miami is not Detroit. Miami is not Cleveland. There is a hell of a lot more fans could be doing on a Sunday afternoon and until ownership starts delivering some title contenders, I'd advise everyone to stay away.
 
I hate the fact that the stands are empty, but it wasn't like that 10 years ago. You know what I hate more than the stadium being empty though? The freakin' product they are trying to sell. This franchise is in shambles and I'm sure the stands will be packed once they all pull their heads out and get **** right finally. That being said, our division rivals will always have a large number of fans in the stands regardless.

if they have have a losing season this year..
get a new owner
a new coach
a new gm
new uniforms
a new name
a new mascot
new players that play with fire
 
If the team ever moved, which seems inconceivable, I'd follow the team wherever they may go. I'm a fan of the team, not the city. In fact, I lived there between 2004-2007 and hated every living moment. It's just not for me.

People from out of Fla should just keep out of this conversation. If you knew anything about St Pete you'd know that it is known by the moniker of "God's Waiting Room" because more than half the population is over the age of 55. That is why the Rays have such a hard time drawing as it is. St Pete is a good 30 miles from Tampa.

Learn geography before shooting off your mouths people.

lol.... If the team actually does move someday, you'd better believe Tony would be long gone well before.
