If the Dolphins wanted to move on from Tua Tagovailoa, there are not many options

The only intriguing thing is the idea of the trade w the Bears. That said, Justin Fields career of 40 TDs to 30 picks is horrific. Why would anyone assume he can be good? Because he’s mobile?

PS and so is his career passer rating - yuck
He runs fast and he throws far so obviously he's a franchise QB. He makes lots of highlight plays that make it onto SportsCenter so he must be great.

It was always destined to end with a crash landing. I posted that on several sites. Regardless, it's remarkable how fresh Flacco looked all season. His arm was considerably more lively than recent years and also his legs. I think it's a lesson that older quarterbacks need more time off.
The late NFL writer from Buffalo named Larry Felser had a theory about old QBs that stuck with me…

The old QB may find lighting in a bottle. But… at a crucial time in a key game… he will try and make a throw he shouldn’t. And he’ll look his age. It will be a moment of regret.

Ross and Grier are stupid enough that they will extend Tua. I’m willing to bet anyone $1000 that Tua will never lead us to a Superbowl. All you Tua fans, put your money up! Tua is pure trash in critical moments.
Ok, if you were GM what realistic option would you have to get us a Superbowl or better yet, 11 wins?

Terrible odds. No way I'd bet even money on a QB getting to a Super Bowl.

Now if you gave me odds of me giving you $10 if Tua doesn't take us there but you giving me $1000 if he does then I'd take it.

Aaron Rodgers is probably a top 10 all time QB yet he's only been once, so no, I wouldn't take an even money bet on it.

Draft a QB this year, 3rd round if he’s the BOA, and for sure, after Tua’s 5th year option, if there is no improvement t late season.

I wouldn't bet money on it, and if he doesn't have any more concussions, I would say Tua will be our QB for the foreseeable future. Same for McDaniel. Like it or not, we better get used to it and accept it.
It's funny how Green Bay has Success. They draft a QB that they like they prepare him to be a franchise QB but not right away. And then they get a boat load of pics to trade away there old franchise guy it's a great plan.

Cousins isn’t an upgrade. At all.
You must not have paid much attention to his play before he went down. He was having his best ever season imo. The fact his name is being banded around should tell you something.

To all the idiots that want to trade for Fields. So let me get this straight. This qb has been so bad that his team has picked in top 5 three years in a row. Hmmmmm Doesn’t a great qb get you more than that. He’s not accurate and can’t read a defense. But he has a strong arm and can run. Big whoopty do. You wait and see how many passes he’d airmail on Hill and Waddle.
Oh great Cousins, because he’s one so many big games also😂. He’s also 36 who’s coming off an achilles surgery. I’m sure he’d be much better.

Some people just want anyone but Tua. It's fine if you feel that way, just own it.
