When did QBs like Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning win their first playoff games? What have Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, and Derek Carr done To earn their contracts?
It’s fine if you think few QBs deserve to get paid, but when you compare what Tua has done to several QBs who have recently signed big contracts, he’s objectively accomplished more than several of them.
Lamar Jackson was on the trade block last year, now he’s the MVP.
IMO, 4 years (really 3) is not long enough to close the book on a QB who has improved every year and led the league in passing.
Additionally, if your plan is to have a rookie be the QB of the Dolphins, you need to plan to get rid of vets like Hill and Ramsey and do a full rebuild, which most likely won’t work.
