If the Dolphins wanted to move on from Tua Tagovailoa, there are not many options

Draft jj mcarthy and let tua play one more season on his final year to prove he can be the man.
And if he fails we have a guy that we can put in his place with alot of potential.

Some people just want anyone but Tua. It's fine if you feel that way, just own it.

That is correct. His four-year rookie contract has expired and he has not done sht! He failed on the rookie contract and now it is time to open a new window, draft a QB, and get a new rookie to perform.

Same with the GM. It is time to get rid of this failed GM Chris Grier and give the reins to someone else for his window!
They failed on contract!

watch jj mccarthy vs washington, he was very pedestrian and weakest link imo on the offense. I wouldn't want him

So you literally want anyone but Tua? Ok. At least you admit it.

He’s objectively done more than several other QBs who have gotten big second contracts. Either Tua has earned his, or several of the other big name QBs have not.

He has failed. He has not won a single playoff game and was given his 4 years of starting on rookie contract.
Same goes for Grier, he has failed and it is over.
Yes, anyone but Tua. Anyone, but Grier. New window.

I should be the GM. And I will draft Michael Pratt QB from Tulane and he will start for the next 2 years at least for the Dolphins and Tua will be the backup next season and after that he can hit free agency! That's how it should be when they fail on contract.

When did QBs like Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning win their first playoff games? What have Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, and Derek Carr done To earn their contracts?

It’s fine if you think few QBs deserve to get paid, but when you compare what Tua has done to several QBs who have recently signed big contracts, he’s objectively accomplished more than several of them.

Lamar Jackson was on the trade block last year, now he’s the MVP.

IMO, 4 years (really 3) is not long enough to close the book on a QB who has improved every year and led the league in passing.

Additionally, if your plan is to have a rookie be the QB of the Dolphins, you need to plan to get rid of vets like Hill and Ramsey and do a full rebuild, which most likely won’t work.

I like Washington's Sam Howell. Although he's the same height as Tua, he looks stronger and is definitely more mobile. If Washington drafts a new QB, Howell might be available. Fix the o-line and get better playcalling, and I think Howell would have success with Miami's offensive weapons.

IMO, Tua is not worth a big contract, so trading him would allow the team to use the money that Tua would have received for improving the roster. With a strong o-line, running game, and defense, a team could win games with a QB like Howell, as he looks to be able to handle pressure better than Tua. Sure, he's no Allen or Mahomes, but he looks decent in this highlight video in an article on the NFL website.

Aaron was behind Brett for several years but when he started finally, he was dominant. Peyton started dominating in his second season and continued. Tua is no where near those guys and never will be. Tua needs a team to carry him. He can’t carry the team to a win. He’s already shown this multiple times.

I would be open to bringing in Cousins anyway if the Vikes dump him (they won't). Tua needs a vet in the QB room. He's too goofy to be the old guy in the room. Always on his phone on Hard Knocks, etc. For the draft capital you'd have to spend to trade for anyone, you might as well trade up for Penix.
