just keep in mind, its never ever the qbs fault around here, especially ones who are drafted by the fins and we want to be the next great thing, such aka henne and tannehill.

Which is why firing Ireland and brining in a new GM to put together a staff himself is crucial and just firing Sherman and either sticking with Ireland or forcing a marriage with GM X and Philbin is a mistake. When this fails we will get more than 1 year of this excuse.
 
It cOuld make a world of difference. Look what a new coordinator did for Alex Smith. But it has to be the right guy

I'm sure we will hear alot of this if Tannehill regresses... reminds me alot of the excuses Jet fans made for Mark Sanchez and the change in coordinators. Either you have it or you don't when it comes to being an elite quarterback.

I really hope this offseason he trains his ass of and comes back playing like a bat out of hell. I somehow doubt it considering when he was drafted he had no idea which teams were in his division. I mean it's called preparation and for pete's sake, it's only 3 teams. I love when players get their arse whipped and train hard because they don't want to feel that way again. One could hope, but it seems Dolphans are use to the same whipped feeling.

You're absolutely right. Year 3, no excuses, put up and prove you are a franchise quarterback or go sit on the bench and spend the rest of your career as a backup.
