They absolutely love him and will pay the price to get him. The Dolphins don't see it coming and probably wouldn't trade up for him anyway.

And then it hit me.................we will trade back with the Chiefs, and if we do man i hope we rob them blind for picks.
 
I don't want to HEAR about next year. It is virtually a carbon copy of this year.

Barkley, then (maybe) Tyler Wilson or overrated Aaron Murray/ Landry Jones, then Ryan Leaf 2.0 (tyler yeehaw)

And ireland will find a way to avoid drafting any of them.

We would like to just get this thing over with once and for all and force this issue THIS year. period. Get a 1st round QB.
 
And count me in for the group that doesn't think this would be a bad thing. I'd much rather take BPA and hope for Weeden later.

We suck again next year and we don't draft Tannehill, Ireland won't get the chance to avoid taking a QB. Taking Tannehill is the only thing that can delay his execution at this point imo.

that's the danger...our sched is soft enough that even with moore or garrard i think this team can win enough where we may not have a shot at any of the top qbs in next years draft...but i'd argue that to me barkley wilson and murray are at minimum every bit the qbs tannehill is and hell probably better on tape...barkley and wilson i'd say for sure murrays play this year was a bit dissappointing but he's still quite talented and has a lot of drew brees like qualities to me...

feels like we are force feeding a qb to me...one that i don't see many people who've studied him and i respect with a conviction about how he'll fare as a pro

I would respond with a quip, but I can't. I will leave this alone. Because nothing you posted here makes sense. Its all bs at this point.:up:

I AGREE take tannelhill at 8 then take weeden also in the 2nd if hes there and hopefuly we can get our feranchise QB and if both pan out to be franchise QBs then we can trade one of them next year for a high draft pick .
 
Wow I would fly down to Miami to kick Ireland in his nuts if we drafted 2 qb with our first and second round picks
 
Browns need a RB before a QB, Trent Richardson and get Weeden at 22, WR in the 2nd
 
I would want my first rounder to start the season, or at least play in some games to see how he adapts to the pro game.
 
NFL Network had a piece last night that the Browns are spending a lot of time with Weeden and like him
 
I think its Tannehill. I think the Green Bay model shows that you shelve and educate the future QB for a year or so until he's ready. Moore and Garrard play this year. I don't think the Browns are in. That puts two developmental guys in their ranks. Philbin does not have to win this year, but he needs to show positive forward progression and a QB for the future, not a QB in 2012.

I agree. I think this "Cleveland will take Tannehill" crap is simply speculation in the media because Cleveland supposedly was interested in Griffin. The problem with that theory is that Tannehill isn't anywhere near as good a prospect as Griffin. We're talking #2 vs 2nd rounder.
 
With a top 10 pick you need to take BPA, not need! Missing on a top ten pick for need sets you back for years (Ted Ginn Jr anyone?)... It all depends on how they have Tannehill graded, if they have him graded as the 20th pick, I sure as **** hope they don't reach or trade up for him in a panic. Now if they have him as a 8-10 pick then by all means take him at 8.

it really should be just that simple.
