2. Unproven at the pro level bro, what you do in college does not guarantee nfl success. You're delusional if you think college receivers are better than our group. I mean if you took all of the best ones, Watkins, Evans, Benjamin, etc.. sure maybe but ... what dude? And you're bringing up 2 years ago when we had no Wallace, Gibson, and Matthews was a rookie.
So two years ago didn't exist? You might have some trouble convincing Tannehill of that. I'm sure he remembers quite vividly having to throw to a group of receivers who never got separation and never got open deep.
The fact is that every season there are receivers who leave college and immediately start in the NFL. On rare occasions more than one of them come from the same college team. Wide receiver, probably more than any other position, is the one place where raw athletic talent can overcome the advantages of experience.
