Is Miami ready for a Minority Coach to lead this franchise?

Winning coaches are indeed a minority for the storied franchise that is the Miami Dolphins.

So yes, I'm ready. :)
 
We need to hire a competent coach........they seem to be the minority

I know a lot of minorities who would say no. I know many who don't believe a minority would be given a fair shake at head coach or QB. I believe people would be skeptical initially but winning cures all as with any coach. I think this is somewhat of an interesting discussion in the right forum. This is not it for a number of reasons. Furthermore most people really don't like discussing race.
 
i dont care if the new coach is from pakistan and sounds like the metro pcs guy
as long as he can lead a team to winning seasons..

I don't think I want Jim Nabors running around every time the other team scores a TD, yelling "SHAZAM, they just scored a touchdown".
 
Minority corches? Let's talk owners.

I hope a group of dudes (Petrodollar Arabs) from the Persian Gulf buy the team. They've got bottomless pockets, they demand accountability from their subordinates, and they won't settle for anything less than good.

Either that or some Chinese investors. Either one would be great.
 
A person's skin color shouldn't make any difference when it comes to his ability to coach....there are great minority coaches but there are also ones who suck. I wouldn't want Denny Green coaching the Phins, but there are also numerous white coaches who shouldn't be head coaches (Tony Sparano, for example). It's sad that there are not more minority head coaches in pro and college football, but I don't feel that there should be quotas to make things right. You should hire the best guy for the job regardless of his race.
