Isiah Prince Impresses In first Start

Post pick I liked him.

All the "guru's hated it.

As a fan I hope he's a solution!

But... He got help pretty much all game game

on the outside... But yeah! Looked good

doing what he was asked!

May NOT be the "bust" so many predicted.

He defintely did better than I expected. The wheels kind of fell off in the 2nd half (of the entire offense in general) but Prince did ok for a 1st start, for a late round pick

Can a guy be a bust, that's taken that late?

I thought he did well for his first time out.

He is a BIG man, that moves well for his size. Long arms too.

I think he needed/needs work on technique. At the collegiate level he could get by on size and athleticism alone.

He's got total PROTOTYPE upside and if he can get his kick slide down...

Watch out! MOFO can bury (collapse) people on the inside! And I'm talking

good dudes not scrubs!

Had a few nice run blocks but make no mistake he ain’t ready to be out there by himself.

Impress is a word I wouldn’t use to describe his play.

Words like "impress" are entirely subjective...

But I'm glad you recognized the dudes rather obvious run block strength!

Like I said... He solves the kick slide and he's suddenly

a potential monster! Dude is a MAN! And he's still growing!

My biased opinion. Of course!

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with the tackle positions next year.

I think the possibility of drafting Tua was part of the reason it was a little easier to give up Tunsil (other than the 3 picks)

Now Right Tackle will be the blindside. That makes Prince that much more valuable to pan out.

Also one of the reasons I REALLY like Wirfs from Iowa, would like to see him picked either with Houston pick or if we trade down from our 2nd pick (Houston pick will likely be too late). He is plug and play RT.
