He couldn't beat out John Kitna for God's sake.
Yeah, there's some real upside!
You can't blame the Bengals team because he could'nt win the starting job. Again, it makes me laugh that so many of you who trash Griese because of his past but think Akili who has'nt proven anything will be a better fit. Unreal.

I hope we sign Griese, but his nonchalance about football is almost Woodleyesque. Maybe Griese could come here and we could have Fied-Griese instead of Wood-Strock. By the way, didn't they really tiptoe around the cause of death? No disrespect intended it just seems like they never got real definitive about it. Or maybe I just missed it.
