It was the un-coachable Dolphins Defense not Fangio..........

"rocket surgery" - interesting. - LOL
Don’t insult the man, I’ve known people who have studied for years and dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars to study at the most prestigious rocket surgery schools in the country. Rocket surgery is more complex and harder to be successful at than brain surgery imo

My favorite part was when after Chubb whiffed on a sack, Fangio ran out there and ripped his helmet off. What a dolt, 15 yard penalty, ultimately cost us 4 points right there in the epic defensive meltdown (also aided and abetted by a pitiful offense but not on topic).
I might be wrong about this but, Fangio might have motivated and schemed Chubb into missing the sack first then running down the field to be in on the tackle and being pissed about the first miss. I know, dumb @$$ move with the helmet, should know better, but he tried to make a play to win and was frustrated by the miss.

You would have been funnier if you had called it "Rocket Sugary". - LOL
I wonder how you would responded to that?
"High Energy Rocketry"? - LOL
Is there any other kind? - LOL

Or you could have been Right if you didn't try to be cute and just used the existing term "Rocket Science".

Red rocket surgery is much ''harder''
than all rocket surgeries

Yup. The Miami locker room has some leaders, but even they aren't much in terms of behavior management. Nobody was checking Holland on some of his immature antics and comments, or on his eratic game play. Same for Tyreek. If a guy was considered a "star" they never got checked on behavior. It doesn't help when some of your worst-behaved players on the team are also made Captains.
McDaniel's failings here will cost him this job if he doesn't correct it this season.

Just my opinion, but along with a lot of things that needed to be handled (HC cuddling players...A bunch of players on D w/ attitudes...Wrong type of players for what Fangio wanted to do...), Fangio did not want to be in Miami, and his heart was not in it.

There was a reason there was conflict with coaches, as well with players, Fangio took it, to give it a shot, but hjs heart was in Philly, and all he was thinking about was hopefully get a shot in Philly.

It’s a McDaniel fault lol
Vic was head coach of defense. It’s on the players and him. I can blame McDaniel for a lot but not this.

He wanted to bring in Vic in. He knew Vic was good d coach. That was smart hire at time.

Where it falls apart is on Vic and d players.

Vic never wanted to be here. Didn’t bother making connections with players or staff.

Players saw that too.

Then you have guys like holland Ramsey X who don’t have the best reputation for being team guys.

Vic sets the culture with the defense.

If you don’t like McDaniel I got no problem with that He had issues But don’t blame him for this.
I have to disagree to a point. The fact that Mike runs such a soft team shows. He wants to be liked by the players way too much and he lets them do what they want. Once Fangio came in the players didn’t want to do what they needed to do.......the players were/are spoiled by Mike so that's on him.

Maybe. Who knows. What coach do these guys like or respect and play well for? Shula or Jimmy ? They might have had for respect Flores but starting 1-7 in 2021 doesn’t cut it.

Tired of these guys not being professionals and hearing how they get caught up in south beach scene. From davente Parker dancing on tables when injured or holland being a divia. I am tired of it. Do we need to move the team to boardman Ohio so nothing distracts them. I bet if we got vanbrell they would be crying he is too hard on them.

oh I agree is the players as they all want to get paid but not do what they need to do.

Beat writers reporting Ramsey was a bully with his coaches, got Madison fired, bullied Grier into an extension and don’t want any leaked info on the issue with McDaniel so the dolphins will do whatever he wants at this point

Fangio and his defense cost us the AFC East title against the Titans. Period, end of story.
Everyone keeps saying that, but the offense contributed more to that loss than the defense. I just watched the end of that game, beginning with when they were tied 13-13. Much is said about how Miami was up by 14 and lost, but those two TDs were a gift given to the offense. The first TD came when the special teams recovered a muffed punt and gave the offense the ball near the goal line. The second TD came after the defense recovered a fumble and gave the offense good field position. IOW, if not for the defense and special teams, Miami probably would never have been up by 14.

Yes, the defense gave up two TDs late to lose the game. But, after that first TD, Miami's so-called "great" offense went 3 and out and gave the ball right back to the Titans, who scored another TD. Miami then had one more chance to get into FG range, and Sanders could hit 50+ yard FGs. But, the offense got one first down, and then turned the ball over on downs, and that was the game.

IMO, yes, the defense gave up two late TDS, but the offense crapped the bed too and were lucky to have had the lead at all. IOW, it was just another example of a team built by Grier and run by McDaniel choking when something important was on the line.

Up by 14 with like 5 minutes is not lucky to have the lead. Yes the lead should have been more because early we got too cute on offense. I don't care what the offense does, if a team is up by 14 with 5 minutes....it is a defensive collapse if that team loses the game.
