Jason Cole: Dolphins concerned about Tannehill

That's the thing I don't understand about the Tannehill criticism after the last game. It seems like most of the people ripping Tannehill, are hyping Moore's performance - yet Moore was REAL close to have TWO pick-6s. Is it just because Moore can hit that deep pass?

While Moore has shown a more consistent ability to hit go routes, he also is more prone to awful game changing INTs and pick-6's...

If Tannehill threw that pick 6 I can only imagine the outrage on here...

The deep pass is exactly what it is...they're obsessed

Seriously...what kind of satisfaction does one get out of telling strangers on a message board they were right all along? Seems stupid to me...I guess some people need that in their ****ty lives....

I swear, that's one of the largest reasons for its usage these days. Well that along with avatar building and branding their lives online as if they're all celebrities.

I don't know where you are getting your information from, but as a starting QB in Miami Matt Moore only had two games where he threw more than one interception and threw only nine that year. Few of those were of the game changing variety either. He also never threw 3 interceptions in a game, something that Tannehill has done 4 times in 32 starts, including his very last start. You really couldn't be more off if you tried.

This is why nobody takes the Matt Moore bashers on here seriously.

Moore plays decent against mediocre/bad teams, the quality opponents are the ones that expose him

Agendas are possible on both sides.

Guys who doubt Tannehill can still support the team, so I'm not sure where you're going with that.

I never said they couldn't, and the message was clear. If you don't understand, or choose not to that is OK. It was just my opinion and fortunately I operate agenda free. I don't need to be right on an Internet message board.

Put Matt Moore behind that line last year and he would've crumbled

Moore is a backup. Period.

Not true. He played well against the Pats and Cowboys in 2011. He just didn't put in the kill shot. It's two games under an offense he only began starting with in Week 5.

He took 36 sacks after starting 12 games in 2011. I'd say he can take punishment. You forget Marc Colombo was his RT.

He may have crumbled too...just don't act like Tannehill didn't. 82 yards on 27 pass attempts and then three interceptions in a win and you're in game are proof of that. I do know that Tannehill has pretty much 0 ability to avoid sacks despite athleticism, while Matt Moore at least makes a move every one in a while.

I'm not talking about not being able to take the beating, I'm saying he would've had his share of fumbles and interceptions and what not...

let me know when Moore leads the Dolphins to a win over a team with a winning record

So many people forget that what Tannehill dealt with in Clabo last year, Moore and Henne were subject to as well. Colombo was as bad a linemen as anyone I had ever seen in a Dolphins uniform, and that is saying something considering I went through Wade Smith & Taylor Whitley amongst others.

Well I guess that astute and well thought out cricism settles it.

I think at this point having blind confidence in RT is unwarranted. He makes some pretty poor decisions and has shown an inability to avoid pressure...I would be worried if the team brass was not worried about RT, his career can go either way. I happen to think good things are around the corner, but one can think that and have concern at the same time.

Can't get the answer to your question unless he starts. That's not the case right now as the keys were handed to Tanny his rookie year. So I don't see the point of your comment. He beat winning teams while in Carolina, but you'll probably tell me it was in meaningless games.
