Jason Cole of Yahoo: No Doubt Miami takes Tannehill

That is a big risk for them considering someone could trade up to #3 and snag their guy.

Cleveland Plain Dealer reporting trade wouldn't happen till the Browns are "on the clock"

That makes more sense... In this case, I'd say the Browns are trying to play mind games with the Dolphins to trade up.

My first priority is a trade down.

After trading down, I'm fine with Tannehill, Weeden, DeCastro, Kuechly.

But it's actually the trade down I want more than the specific first-round prospect.

Tannehill will be a couple of years out before you start to see dividends if taken with the #8 pick. I think that he is a reach at that spot. I like DeCastro as well.

Jason Cole is almost as bad as Adam Schein and Mike Greenberg when it come to hating on the Dolphins. And all 3 of em have something else in common. They are complete douche bags that never played in the NFL and are bad at what they do. Garbage.

LOL Mike Golic and Warren Sapp both starred in the NFL and they amongst the worst "media" members.

If the Dolphins draft another o-linemen in Round 1 this team can just pack up and move. If you think NO FANS go to the games now, the few they have left will stop paying to go see them. They are down to 33,000 season tickets sold, 10 years ago they were pushing 70,000 season tickets sold. How many 1st round picks can you WASTE on o-linemen when you have glaring holes at WR, QB, TE...etc.

What Matt Millen was to WR's in Detroit; Ireland will become to offensive linemen in Miami. PICK ANOTHER POSITION!!

Last time I checked no matter who the QB for the Miami Dolphins is they still need time for a play to develop. I think in your break down you missed offensive line as the right side is anything but solid right now. DeCastro is a stud that you don't have a chance to acquire very often. You can always trade back into the first round and get a QB or move up in the second. For those fans that think drafting Tannehill in the first round will solve all of Miami's problems at QB are mistaken. He is being pushed up the draft board right now because of the position he plays. He will take a couple of years before he is ready. In the meantime you have him taking shots from the right side of the line because there is not adequate protection for him to look down field.

I never mentioned Tannehill's name. I Just said they CANNOT draft another friggin olinemen in Round 1. WR, TE, DE, CB...I don't care. Just not another o-linemen! Jon Jerry improved last year. Murtha is 100%, we got bodies. We got picks in Rounds 2 and 3 to use on o-linemen....JUST NOT ROUND 1

Tannehill is already proficient in Shermans NFL Offense. He can read defenses already and has athletic accurate strong throwing arm. Who cares if he sits a year? If Moore or Gerrard fail this year he may start the last few games of the year. If philly wants to trade up and grab him we can always trade down to number 11-14 pick and take weeden.

Tannehill NEEDS to be the pick. Unless Blackmon or Claiborne fall, this team NEEDS to invest in the quarterback position in the 1st round.

It's fairly obvious Tannehill will be the pick. Both the other QB's have lame duck contracts.

Tannehill is NOT worth the 8th overall pick!!!! He's a 2nd rounder for crying out loud!!!

If we choose him in the first he is a first rounder. Nobody feels he will not be drafted in the first round. I dont get the logic of people wanting to draft an interior lineman over a damn qb that most scouts see as a very talented guy. That kind of logic has lead us to three straight losing seasons

We have drafted so called elite linemen twice in the first round since this regime came into being and still tied a dolphin sack record.
