Jason Cole: Set up to FAIL

Ding Ding Ding. Congratulations, you win a crippled economy, massive debt, endless war, mass surveillance and a ****ty team to root for!

Skape its not that bad.. at least we get to own businesses so we can pay personal and payroll taxes to get all these goodies!!!

Enough of the political mumbo crumb... Fins to the top in 2014!!! LOL

Every candidate for a GM position will have different wants and needs and different reasons for them. There are a lot of qualified people. If Miami's structure does not suit a candidate it might be great for another. The rubber hits the road with the players and the coaches in my opinion. That being said, we have all seen Miami mess things up for decades now. No wonder people think the worst all the time. It is funny though to watch all the threads that get created as soon as a reporter puts something out there. The funniest thing is people who say the reporters know nothing, but time after time the same people react and discuss what the reporters put out there.

We're not good at that at the present.

True..but if we had been good at it anytime in the last 13 years...we wouldn't be going though
this crap over and over...Just win...stops a lot of bulls***.

All this talk gives me a headache. I love the speculation of who our candidates are but the garbage of who wants to take it and who can deal with our "mess" is exhausting. Let's just enjoy the process and hope we get the right man for the job.

This is pretty true. Someone is going to interview and love not having to deal with the cap.

this is all ramped up over that armondo article where he said that DAWN APONTE and JOE PHILBIN do not want a GM, or anyone else brought in who can fire them.

i see this out of aponte, but not philbin. i just dont see him making those kind of waves, or wanting to.

aponte, another story.

A HATCHET JOB IS BEING DONE BY OUR RIVALS ON THE MIAMI DOLPHINS RIGHT NOW!! why? i imagine the ireland camp is poisoning some wells as well as our division rivals who dont want us getting a top GM [i say the jets as they want tom gamble bad]. there are other teams outside our division who need a GM and you can bet these sports hacks "sources" are indirectly from other teams planting things.

everyone, top to bottom in nfl circles has said for a couple years now that ireland should be gone. and after this seasons end when it looked like ireland might be staying, these nfl insiders and writers all were saying what idiots the finz brass were for not booting him.

so, why all of a sudden now are the media suddenly calling miami a wasteland and to avoid at all costs? we did what THEY said needed to be done!!

OUR RIVALS!! other teams who want the TOP GM talent coming their way. like what was done with DAN MARINO in 1983. all of a sudden, just before the draft, its reported by SEVERAL SOURCES that he is on drugs and failed recent tests!! and down, down, down danny fell. all the way to the dolphins. [nice move mr. thomas!!]

if i was betting on this, i would say the NEW YORK JETS are behind this. indirectly. having others plant info in others ears, them telling others who are "sources" to nfl writers and BOOM!! instant poison campaign!!

the huizenga/wanny situation comes to mind. but, this was different! wayne never had any plans to let wanny walk or take him out of the personel equasion. and once that got out after the first couple interviews, THEY WERE TO BE AVOIDED!! and they were.

i dont think any candidate, especially a guy like gamble who has seen all this before would snub miami over a rumor. he would come in and see for himself. ask all the right questions. AND, he would get it all in writing to protect himself from any "unforseen" power grab.

and i will say to all...... STOP PUTTING THIS STUFF ON THE FRONT PAGE!! YOUR ONLY HELPING THESE RUMORS FLY and they are much more pronounced on the front page of a dolphins web site!!
