Give me Waddle or Chase and I am happy.
teammate Davonta Smith
Yeah reminds me of Lamar Thomas build wise.Smith's lack of size worries me a bit.
He might be more of a specialist in the NFL.
I'm thinking 15-19, just due to his speed. I think Smith will probably end up a better receiver, but Waddle will be drafted first. "You can't teach speed."12-19 range, depending who has which picks.
There is going to be a log jam of teams with 3-5 wins this year, I believe. Strength of schedule is going to be ultra-important come April.
I suspect we will probably have a shot at him with OUR first. He would be in play for Miami but all depends on what more premium positions have a comparable talent.
WR and Center are the only offensive positions I see as possible first round candidates for us, without us moving into the back end of the round with Houston's 2nd to have a 3rd first rounder. Which is where I like Devonta Smith and Rondale Moore, as our third selection of the draft.
I think Smith would make an amazing slot receiver.Smith's lack of size worries me a bit.

That would be nice but at some point I want to cash in on a top pick and get a Parsons (future leader of the D?), Chase, Sewell or Rousseau. We have a nice base and now some pure play making studs is what we need to take the next step.Smith catches everything so I’ll take some of that next year. I’d prefer to acquire him with Houston’s second, in a trade up to 26ish, if he’s available.
I’d do a 3 in 2021 and 2022 to move up and get Smith. I’m usually not about drafting WRs high but he fits the mold of what Parker and Williams can’t do.
Ditto for Rondale Moore.
I’m looking for more OL or front 7 with first two picks.
It’s still very possible Houston’s pick is high enough that we trade it for someone looking at Fields or Lance. So the extra ammo would come in handy to possibly snag 3 1st rounders and still have our 2nd.

Sewell will be top 3. So you are right that will not happen though I have seen him mocked at #5. But in your scenario you said if someone wanted Fields or Lance. That puts us in top 3 talk because no way Fields is not drafted in the top 3 like Sewell with all of these QB needy teams. Jets will take Lawrence, leaving Jacksonville (Minshaw), Washington (Haskins/Allen), Giants (Jones), Atlanta (Ryan, long in the tooth) and Bengals as the teams in their wake.Forget about Sewell.
Parsons and Rousseau should be in play for us if available. I don't suspect Jamar Chase will be a Dolphin.
Two points I've tried to get across regarding Waddle for a long time:
[1] Might be the best offensive player in the country.
[2] However high he goes in the draft - it wasn't high enough.
His double move cannot be covered. All an elite DB can try to do is grab him when he runs by.
Plays like he's 6'3", 220. Dominates at the catch point with his 40" vertical and rare ball skills. Toughest receiver in the country. Fearless.
Everything he does is a wow play. Talents like him don't come along very often. He's all football player.
