Jeremy Zuttah: Bucs open to trading him

Has anyone else noticed that Tampa has completely overhauled more or less their entire OL?

Didnt seem like it was much of a sweat for them either.

Meantime, we cant even fill four spots when we did not have guys on our OL that other teams are even interested in.
The Bucs have signed two new lineman, same as Fins.

for a late round pick it would be worth it. Unlike Smith Zuttah is definitely an oline starter. Smith is a huge question mark so definitely would be a smart trade.

He is from my hometown ( Edison ) except he is from the other HS.. (JPS)

If he's any good, why would he be cut? Doesn't Miami already have some scrap-heap players like Yeatman and Danny Watkins?

Another team can offer a 7th and we will miss out. Thats why we give a throwaway pick anyway. Go get em.

Let's look at good players that have been cut recently, Peyton Manning, Demarcus Ware, Julius Peppers, Darrell Revis.... the list goes on. good players get cut sometime for $$$$ or other reasons such as a youth movement.

And even though I don't hate him like most people here seem to, would you trade Danial Thomas for Zuttah? Seems like a good trade for both teams and you could replace Thomas by drafting a back late in the draft.

good trade for us. Not sure the Bucs want Thmas but u never know. Zuttah seems a starter , Thomas is not a good backup

I would throw a 7th their way or even a conditional pick in 2015....

As far as the bucs completely overhauling their line....They've signed two guys and released two guys...about on par with the Dolphins...

Don't try using the truth of facts around here.

In some ways. The dolphins signed the only stud among the two teams. Collins and Smith have proven to be capable starters but have yet to lock down a starting position.
Smith did start the full season for Green Bay, Collins has never been a full time starter and Shelly Smith was able to start 2 games last year for a lackluster St Louis line.
So the only guy in that whole group that has proven anything is Albert.

I think many get that "grass is greener" syndrome when looking at Miami's moves...Outside of Denver breaking the bank to give the super bowl one more go before Peyton falls apart, I can't think of a team that has had an overwhelmingly great off-season...many teams lost and gained guys and almost all have holes that still need to be filled...
