it is what it is. stop looking for miracles this off season and stop blaming hickey for every player who signs with a better organization. put up a big pic of ireland on your wall and everytime that coveted player sign with a winning team, chuck a dart or two at the ireland pic. were in this mess, this big because of him.

SO, IF WE WANT HIM, we have to trade or he probably wont be in miami. a conditional 6th would be my 11th hour offer IF they balked at a 7th. that as far as i would take it. and no matter what all the stat and scout hooplah says, at the end of it all, the guy hasnt given up a sack for many years and thats great for an o-lineman at ANY position!! having a TRUE backup center is critical. this guy needs to be a dolphin but wont be unless we trade. and who in the 5-7 round is going to be the instant player zutah already is? and we know we are going after a guard somewhere in the 5th/6th round so not a game changer as far as that portion of the draft.

if you trade, it really needs to be a conditional pick in '15 ... not this year ...

say 7, move to a 6th if he sticks, remains a backup and gets 'some' playing time, then can move up to a 5th if he becomes a starter (not do to injury) ...
