Jets wanted Garrard, he chose Miami

Well I'm glad they didn't get him. The Sanchez/Tebow train wreck is going to be way too fun watching from afar.

Angsty emo vampire versus shirtless werewolf, locked in eternal struggle. #TeamSanchez vs #TeamTebow

I think the Sanchez/Tebow is only a small story of the lack of unity in that locker room right now. They've had fights the last two practices, some of which have spilled into the fans area and Rex Ryan hasn't been able to keep the locker room under control and together. Rex is losing that team and it is a train wreck that's going to happen.

as long as you enjoy watching us win. Come on CK, you are smart enough to realize there isn't a QB controversy or competition.

I'm smart enough to know a slow developing train wreck when I see one.

The crappy thing is (gasp) I don't think Rex Ryan is a bad coach at all. I think he'll learn from this experience, if he survives it.

Sanchez is too inconsistent for their not to be a QB controversy especially with the holy savior as his backup. There will be a natural divide as soon as there is a slight sign of things not going NY 's way.

I wonder if Garrard, unlike Peyton, at the least was not so disgusted by the idea, that he had the courtesy to call Woody Johnson back.

Exactly...I think I speak for most when we watched Cam Cameron's PC of the Ted Ginn selection and his motto fail forward fast that we could see a train wreck about to happen. Trust us its gonna happen with the QB situation.

The signing of David Garrard is proving to be a real steal & the fact we beat a division rival for his service make all the better. Great to hear he was in high demand, which does not surprise me, cause he has been a very efficient QB in his career.

yeah it was fun watching you win 4 out of the last 9 games, outscoring your opponents by 5 total points and having the clubhouse implode as the clueless wife-pimping, foot sucking buffoon was otherwise preoccupied telling fans "eff you" and flashing them the bird.

you just know sparano is gonna be looking at tebow after the 10th time sanchez air mails a wide open receiver one game...should be juicy...tebows game is right up sparanos alley...i do think that wilcat with tebow is gonna be a hand full for teams to defend against

I have to agree with you. My guess is that Tebow will, as usual, prove the doubters wrong and be a great asset to the Jets this year. All this media blah blah is worthless, and Esiason and especially Stephen A. (for a** h***) Smith are idiots, and Smith is the biggest loudmouth jerk in TV sports media today. Rex Ryan to his credit is being smart enough to carve out a role for Tebow that suits his skill set and the guy is bottom line a winner. Esiason's comments were a joke, and as usual the comments about Tebow's lack of an ability to throw the football are way overblown. Look at the UF game film, look at the championship game against Oklahoma, look at the film of him shredding the Steelers in the playoffs, look at how he was THE link in Denver turning their season around last year. Other than that, i'm tired of talking abut Tebow, let's just see how he does. When I want to see pure passing ability I'll be more than happy to watch Brady, Rodgers and Brandon Weeden.

tebows got a role in the nfl...but its not as an every down nfl qb...denver knew it...the jets do also i'd say...well maybe not sparano

looking forward to seeing some of those one hoppers to short stop that he calls throws...

Tebow wants all you guys who are bashing him and doubt his play as an NFL QB to know that he wishes you the best of luck in your message board typing and gives you all the blessings of God.

Folks remember you're talking to JunC who thinks Sanchez is the best quarterback in New York. Yes, over Eli Manning. So... yeah.

We shall see, I don't see any negative to this at all. Tebow is not a threat of any kind to Sanchez.

and yet we still won more games than your team.

To this day..... what in the hell did that mean?

tebow didn't carve up pittsburgh anyways...the steelers played into his hands by lining up so many defenders so tight to the los and no help over the top and he beat one on one coverage looks...the guy can do that...he'll do it in the wildcat with the jets...he can beat one on one coverage with his arm...the steelers didn't respect his ability to beat man coverage with his arm an he made them pay...the next week the pats played more coverage and he got owned

how many times did i count all 11 defenders within 8 yards of the los in that playoff game...seemed like a ton
