there's not a sane football person whou would have traded a 3rd year QB coming off helping his team to back to back title game apps. It's easy to look at last year and see how awful he was w/ no help around him and make an outrageous comment but mark on Abaltimore this year they win the SB, Amakr in Atlanta they win more playoff games w/ the boatloads of talent those 2 have to work with.

he lost the starting job once and to assume if we change QBs at 4-7 we finish 9-7 is silly. No QB was winning w/ the healthy talent we had in Nov/Dec. When McElroy started against a bad SD team he took double digit sacks and we got killed.

I'm not assuming they would've finished 9-7 but it was certainly possible and after the JAX win they were 6-7 with games against TEN, SD, and BUF who were a combined 14-28 heading into their games vs. the Jets so let's not act like 9-7 was impossible.

Rating doesn't tell us everything, it tells part of the story but since you are fascinated w/ QB rating you should enjoy this list.

again, the fact that you think he was bad in the SD game tells us all we need to know about your knowledge of this game.

Which makes it even more sad that he was replaced by a 3rd stringer twice. Mark Schlereth said on Mike and Mike today that Garrard is already the best QB on their roster now. He's an ESPN analyst tool though who knows nothing so who cares.

99 out of 100 Jets fan would trade Sanchez for Flacco if they could. Guess who the 1 isn't?
