Junior Seau passes away..RIP

sad. shocking!!

just a guy you would never think would be a suicide. i have experiance in my family and associates with clinical depression and many times a clinicaly depressed person can become manic, in other words super up and positive and active. then have spells where they are so down they were paralized.

bipolar depressives are like that.

they are also subject to self destructive behavior and activity at times. but junior has never presented any of this. a model player, team mate, citizen, family man. i am watching the nfl players and former team mates call in to nfl network and all say its so odd because he NEVER showed any signs of having any sort of depressive issues, wasnt self destructive [just the opposite!] and seemed to have his personal life in order.

he went out on his own terms from the nfl, not broken down or sick. that we know of anyways.

its going to be very interesting to see what comes out in this. he was obviously extremely depressed and hopeless over something.

Rip jr seau dolphin forever 55!

For the guy who won the JR SEAU JERSEY I gave away as a prize. Please cherish it and just know life is to short so live everyday like its your last. Poor JR

Looking at it right now. Today is a sad day for all NFL fans....unbelievable

He committed suicide. I dont know get why anyone would take their life away like that.
But R.I.P Seau! one of my favorite dolphins!

Sad to hear. Nobody knows whats going through someones mind when they decide to take their own life but that person. It's hard to understand what makes a person believe that whatever is going, on the only answer is to kill themself. RIP Junior.

rip jr. his memory will live on. my mom is a chargers fan, I grew up idolizing him and ZT. it's just so tragic. if he really shot himself in the chest as is being reported by some outlets then I think it's very telling. I was forced to listen to fox sports radio last night (around 4-5 pacific time) an they had this bozo host on there talking about how depression and other mental effects players are experiencing are made up or the result of "the current circumstance", I can't say anything with certitude but I am positive there is a correlation to a degree.

Junior you will be missed.. RIP!

A gunshot wound to the chest is listed as a suicide? Anybody else find that a bit odd? People usually don't shoot themselves in the chest and then wait to die. I hope they investigate all possible causes of death and don't jump to conclusions.

Another nfl player Dave Duerson also did the same thing. He did so in order for his brain to be studied. He said so in his suicide note.

wtf he's only 43 ..........

all the love to you wherever you are now Junior Seau.......

sad to hear that one of the players I grew up watching died at such a young age. Zach, Junior and Ray Lewis were the 3 best LBs I have ever personally seen. I grew up watching those guys dominate.

Once a Dolphin always a Dolphin

RIP
