I fully understand believe me. To each his own. I just figure there are players who might say "it's too hot and muggy" or "it's not a good place to raise a family"...something like that. I would think the biggest lure to come to Miami would be the lack of a state tax I guess.

I didn't think his comment was smart-ass-y. Anyway, the other thread about D'Qwell Jackson was originally in the main forum but was moved to the General NFL Forum. I'll merge the two now.

I haven't read or heard anything that said we were supposed to sign him. He was in for a visit this week but also visited the Colts, Broncos, and Titans. Had to choose one. He got paid very well and didn't have to relocate very far.
