TS walked into this job with a big advantage, now this in no way lessons TS's ability to coach or his contribution to the success of the 08 Dolphins, but you can't deny TS was far better thanks to BP than you can say BP success was far better thanks to TS. You can say all the same things about JI. We won 11 games and the divison more because of BP than anyone or anything else.

No one is saying that BP isn't a huge reason this team is where they are but, to suggest that TS runs his words to the media by BP is silly(refer to one of your old posts). BP plays a big role in what we are doing here, JI plays a big role in what we are doing here and guess what...TS plays a big role in what we are doing here. You can say that BP is a better director of player personel(or whatever his title is) because of TS. Can't you? You are trying to turn this argument into something it was not. You said earlier "but he's(refering to TS) still learning and much of what he says is what he's been told he can/can't say(apparently by BP)" and "IMO if TS were the one making the critical decision on this team, Miami would have been a serious destination for TO like it or not, but when asked BP said that TO would be a Dolphin this year and we all know BP won't be with the Dolphins next year, put 2 and 2 together and we all know who's making the decsions on this team", so you were diminshing TS as a coach by suggesting he wanted TO and BP said "no way" and that TS "has been told what to say". That's just plain silly and a very weak cooment. Now you are saying that BP is simply the "main" reason we are winning. Stay true to your words. you made a few comments that are completely silly and now you are trying to cover that garbage up.

Look believe whatever you want BP runs a tight ship and like it or not while BP is in Miam it's his ship. You don't have to like it, you don't have to agree, but it is BP way. He doesn't like people talking about the team, coahces, players or the teams future moves. This isn't TS team, he's not Don Shula, TS does what TS is told to do. BP makes it very clear how he wants the information about this team released to the public and EVERYONE does things BP way. No matter how you think it is in Miami, rest assured it's BP way...period!! You can argue with me all you want you can respond to everything I write any way you want, this isn't my opinion, it's not a debate, this is BP team and he tells people how he wants things done and people do what BP says.

The reason things are done that way is because it's successful when done BP's way, not to mention no one on the team has more control than Bill, not even Ross the owner, cause if they did, BP wouldn't be in Miami right now. He has requested and been given full and complete control over this team, he even has an open check book. You simply can't be in any more control thn BP is with this team. Maybe you simply don't know how BP operates, but it's pretty common knowledge he keeps everyone on a pretty short leash as far as information about his teams. Plenty of history to support this fact.

You act like you are saying something new. We all know it's done BP way, that is common knowledge but, TS does not have a muzzle on his mouth, BP does not tell him what to say. TS knows what to say. That is why BP chose him to be the coach. Because they both have the same philosophy. TS never wanted TO as you stated before, not because BP didn't want him but, because he knew the effect a TO would have on his team. TS didn't need BP to tell him "no, we are getting TO". We all know this team is being run the way BP wants it run. No one is saying it isn't but, BP chose people he knows to help run the team that believe in his philosophy and people BP won't have to "tell what to do or say". Dude, you're not saying anything new, it is BP way but, he hired people he wouldn't have to tell what to say. Get over it. If TS was the type that wanted to do things his way, he wouldn't be here. If bp thought TS was the type that needed to be "told what to say", he wouldn't be here. We are basically arguing the same point but, you go overboard with some of the crap you added. Your laughable.

Listening to what Sparano said, you can clearly tell most pressing need is a pass rusher and will do everything to aquire one in this draft. I also like what I read about Eric Green, it tells you the guy will not be handed anything and Miami will draft a Corner or Two. The fact he mentions Joe Cohen ahead of Paul Soliai should worry Soliai fans. I still think Miami drafts a DT.

Actually, mentioning Cohen should be an encouraging note. The fact that Sparano mentioned him first just means that he's been probably looking at him "lately", that's it. We all saw that Soliai is a part of the rotation with the plays he made last season. This Cohen guy should mean either that they are trying to throw a smokescreen and select a Ron Brace type guy in the 2nd round...or that we aren't as bad off and can wait for the 2nd day for a Sammy Hill or a Terrance Taylor guy or even wait for next offseason to obtain Ferguson's eventual replacement...or Soliai's or Cohen's eventual backup...
