Mando's open letter to Philbin

It appears that they called him 'stinky pakistani' because he was not wearing deodorant. This is not bullying. They were trying to help him out, in a humorous adolescent way.

I thought one of the more telling facts that came out of that report was that one of the shrinks that Martin went to refused to take him on as a client.

Remember on Hard Knocks during a D-line huddle I think Soliai yells out "what the hell is that smell", Odrick tells them he hasen't showered or put on deodorant all training camp "I smell like ****ing roses".

Had me laughing.

Weren't all the questions answered in the Wells report? What the **** does Philbin even need to say? The report said he didn't know and Martin never went to anyone so he's going to say something different?

We want him to pander to the media when asked if he should have known? Like we know anything on how locker rooms are ran and the culture that goes on in there. There is nothing for Philbin to say here. If he does have to speak with the media he will just cite the Wells report as he cooperated 100% and everything he knows he told Wells and is in the report.

Here is one of the problems with that report. It is so slanted & biased as to be almost completely worthless.

The facts are good and they did a good job of gathering info but they 'spun' all the facts and grossly exaggerated everything to support their claim.

If Martin was really afraid to snitch on his teammates because he felt he was being bullied, and he felt that the oriental trainer was being bullied,

Why didn't he anonymously report the bullying of the trainer?

He was there and did nothing that makes him complicit in this Walk Disney, PC, fantasy Preschool world that they are using as a Model.

If he really is so sensitive then why do his texts refer to women in the exact same misogynistic and vulgar terms as the rest of the group?

You can't have it both ways. He lacks the strength to be himself and be different and he lacks the strength to fit in.

There have been a number of very intelligent NFL players that were marked individuals like Todd Christienson, Robert Smith, Gary fencik.

They all succeeded because they were tough and team players

Lol, did Mando's blog turn into a ****ing diary now??

I think people just want Philbin to go on TV and tell everyone he is a dumbass for not knowing whats going on in his locker room, or texts, or in players homes.

Not really interested in what he has to say, he reports news doesn't make it.

It's funny (well sad for us) that going into those last two games so many people, fans and the media were praising Philbin/Tannehill for the handling of the off field issues as they related to the on field team. After those two games however, the proverbial sky has fallen and the earth has came off it axis. A few months removed I'm not all that upset about it. These guys have to go though the entire off-season being beat over the head with the same old cr*p, I'm sure they will realize, if they didn't already know, treat every game as a must win. I don't think you could possibly have a more profound "Teachable Moment" then what Philbin and Tannehill are going through.

I did not read the entire report becasue it is worthless in my eyes.. However, did the report mention how or if Wells interviewed the trainer to see what he had to say. Does Wells conclude that the trainer was being bullied becasue Martin thinks he was? did Wells ever speak to Pouncy and confront him with the things that Martin alleged he had done? I ask becaue there is always 2 sides to a coin.

For all we know the trainer gave incog just as much Sh*t that incog gave him. For all we know the trainer never felt threated and realized that incog was just fooling with him. For all we know incog prob bought the guy xmas and birthday gifts just to show his appreciation. For all we know the trainer could have pulled Incog aside and said hey man that was a little low and Incog apoligized and it never happened again. we dont know jack becasue the report is slanted and worthless and conducted by a guy that has no idea about relationships inside of a football locker room.

Mando clearly has an Ax to grind because he main source in the organization is gone. HOWEVER... Despite this, he has a valid point, at a time when the dolphins should be as transparent and open to the public and news media as possible (ie if you have nothing to hide, show everything) they are in turtle mode. Lock down. Man up Philbin. It's time for you to lead your men. You're paid to lead, you're expected to lead. You can't and shouldn't hide. If you don't want to lead, then get the **** out of the way.

You want him to lead through the media? I'm pretty sure he's taking care of things like the draft, getting the new OC up to speed, and working with Hickey on developing the roster. Holding a presser something that's already been tried while offering no new info is just a waste of time, and imo has nothing to do with "leading men". I'd much rather him work on coaching than PR stunts.

I don't see Philbin as hiding. Will he say something once the NFL hands down whatever "punishment" they give? Maybe.

Whether calculated or not, the message is sent that Failbin cannot step up and handle the uneasy parts. I can't stand this about him. It shows he is not accountable to his mistakes. He won't admit to them. It's your team coach, lead it.

Maybe its not up to Philbin? Maybe there are other factors as to why he isnt giving a presser? Why do you blame Philbin for not giving a presser now?
