"test his character" by asking if his mom was a prostitute, Seriously???
What about the character of the person asking the question when he already knew the answer! Please tell me how the parents character automatically equals the sons character? Some of us must be high on Ireland after a win but this was never a classy/good move and there is no justification of it regardless of how Dez Bryant ends up. Just look at how it has negatively affected Ireland's reputation and relationship with players and tell me it was a good call with a straight face..
I am not an Ireland basher but lets call a spade a spade, dude is not a nice warm hearted guy that players and people around the League love..
Mainly because of this comment....
Nope. Ireland was wrong and no hindsight will change that.
Hindsight does not change the fact that the question was extremely insensitive and rude.
Even for the NFL.
The fact is Ireland new the answer to the question before he asked it making it not only rude but totally unnecessary and bordering on spiteful.
First how do YOU know that Ireland knew the answer about Dez's mother?
Second what amuses me about this whole thing both in your comment in this thread and the also medias coverage of this incident is there has been no accountablility shown on Dez B. part for leading Ireland into asking the question. Really who in the right mind would say that there father was a PIMP and my mother works for my father. IF that was said by Dez then he implied right there what his mother was. Amazing if there is an incident involving 2 parties and they are not of the same race these days it appears that the lighter color the skin that is the person so blame. Accountability is what makes a man and not standing up when you are wrong makes you less than a man. Dez was wrong and not very intelligent to imply what he said in that interview with Ireland.
Oh please. Any of you would give a testicle to have Dez in a Dolphins uniform. The guy is a beast and Ireland totally f'uped with that interview. He was out of line and maintains a terrible reputation across the league. It is harmful to this team that everyone thinks he's such as a-hole. God knows on the players we miss out on because they dont trust or dont want to play for a GM like that. He needs to go.
First I don't think Ireland should've asked that question. However I've read that players have been asked worse, they just don't talk about the questions after the interview. Second, I don't understand why anybody would be offended by a question or statement that isn't true. the only time you should be offended by words is if they are true.Hey Tannchise, is your mother a whore? I've heard some rumors about her and I really gotta know... is your mother a whore???
Does that feel okay to you? It bothered me to even type it.
I was with you until YOU bought race into it. You have no clue. You are on the level with Dez dude and I bet you can't even see it. Kinda like Dez. Your post lacked intelligence. Again, like Dez.

he did. Crossing that caused almost as much drama for the dolphins, as dez has caused for the cowboys.Ireland crossed the line on that one. Just my opinion.
