Unproven or not, every player in the draft is overpaid. That's doesn't mean they shouldn't get paid based on what the norm is as far as what draft players should get.

My point is, if Saban isn't willing to pay what is normal for a 2nd pick , I doubt he will want to overpay for a headbasket who hasn't won any sb's. Especially since the team he played for couldn't beat Saban's buddy who didn't need wr's in TO's caliber.

true very true. I think everyone realizes now that players are way overpaid babies. but here is something to consider..........would you like to have a superstar WR baby or an underachieving overpaid baby? Chambers is a class act, yet still overpaid. There are so many ways to look at it. Bottom line? Can you get to the Super bowl. thats all that matters. When TO brought the Eagles to the SB, he was a great guy, now he is a piece of crap? I think people change their opinions like women nowadays. Myself included. People are talking about the dolphins like idiots anyways, so why not bring in a superstar idiot who makes your attack offense actually have an attack to it?

wilbon is the guy who said Dan Marino is not one of the great QB's of all time. I think the PTI show blows. The media circus is built by the media. I mean, a helicopter outside his house showing him shooting hoops? cmon, people. when is enough enough?

Not really. I mean, dont you find it at all crazy that Ricky Williams is in Miami now? That is crazy. Why not make it even crazier with an all pro reciever teamed with CC to put us in serious contention for the East?

ummm, chris berman said he was a hero himself last night and it is a moniker that the media put on him. Rosenhasnefefer also said it repeating what the media said. Frankly, at this point, I dont give a damn about ego's as long as they back it up come gametime. I would not sign him to a long term deal, but I would sign him to a one year deal with lots and lots of incentives.......in a heartbeat. and then say goodbye to Thompson/Boston (who is bound to fail in the long term, if not the short term, despite the valiant effort).

I think Saban could turn his crap around and Rosenhaus would be a nice connection (even though I hate his ***, and TO for that matter) but somehow, I think TO and Ricky would make us look like real dips to the media, but then start kicking some serious ars! The only problem is that we would have to give up alot and we already did that for ricky. Very Very risky, but damn...............I think I would pull the trigger if something could be worked out.

I wouldn't take that piece of s*it TO if they if they offered him to us for a 7th round pick. He's not worth the trouble, not to mention there's not one player in the NFL I hate more than that clown. F*CK TO.

If you are somehow implying that Saban is better at handling NFl players, or any player for that amtter you're really crazy... Andy reid is one of the best NFl minds around, his track record proves it.

Saban is a rookie.
 
Unlike a lot of people I thought his little showboating episode in Dallas was downright hilarious. I also thought the sharpie td was equally funny.

BUT, the most telling play I remember about TO in San Fran wasn't so funny. I remember a play where Garcia managed to throw a TD to another Wide Out, and TO came to the sidelines screaming & b*tching like a little girl.

He is bad news, no ifs, or buts about it, and HOW I wish his agent's 5 minutes would just expire already...

Drew is going to start to feel the wrath of all these millionaires who own NFL teams very shortly. (Not soon enough, IMHO)...:fire:
