Merged: Bench Frerotte / Start Sage

Im tired of these threads.

Are you guys watching the game? Frerotte has done nothing wrong. Chambers dropped 2 balls, and McMichael dropped one in the endzone. With those catches, that would put frerotte at 9/11.

You guys are ridiculous with this sage talk

Freotte has done nothing wrong? what about that GAME ENDING int on the FIVE yard line?

or how about his amazing down the field throwing ability to keep defenses honest?

Season Over ?

with this loss, our season is over, opinion ?

If you think yes like me, I hope saban will put in sage and cleo next week to know if one of them could be a good back up for our new QB next year

To those wishing we had Feely or Fiedler back listen to how dumb you sound right now! If we had either one of them here right now you would be complaining that they lost the game.

Do I want to see Gus in another game...NO. But if Sage gets the nod, I have a feeling everyone will be in here saying Bench Sage he sucks, start Cleo. This has been the pattern since Marino retired. We start a new QB and everyone thinks they will be the answer to all of our prayers, then after a month, everyone complains and wants somebody else. We don't have a QB on our roster than can get the job done the way seen Marino do it.

We need a trade or high draft pick for a decent QB to answer our prayers!

With this improved OL I would take Fiedler back in a second. That is not stupid talk, that is common sense IMO. When Fiedler had time behind the OL's he played behind here in Miami he was able to make positive plays more so than not. I'm not saying he could take this team to the Super Bowl so save the nonsense. But I think he would have played a lot better than what Gus has played.

But that is prob more frustration speaking on my part. There was so many yards and points left on the field today and it was all the QB's fault it just makes me sick!

POSITIVE NOTE:
This team is without doubt an average-to-good QB away from being very, very competitive in just Saban's first year. If Saban can just find a QB in the draft or elsewhere this offseason, the Fins should be ready to go next season.
You hit the nail on the head!

Does anyone else honestly think that if the Dolphins had a QB that could make some throws and manage the game that the Dolphins would win the division this year? Because the fins defense is very good ( except reggie howard ) and there offense could be very explosive.. as we have 2 #1 caliber runningbacks, a stud TE in McMike and 3 very solid wr's in Chambers, Book and Boston (when healthy) and the only thing that is missing is a QB ...this loss today in my opinion goes on Gus
please don't sit there and believe the hype. Our defense is not that good. We are horrible verse the pass and we are probably the worst of 5 in the league stopping 3rd down conversions.

Welcome....better late than never. GO PHINS!

Actually I am not late, some of you were early. I'm not sure what that gets the early ppl, but whatever.

Agreed. He doesn't look like he even belongs in this league. There were plenty of opportunities in this game and he just squandered them (just like the game against the Bucs.
Defense held it together in the 2nd half. At 3-5 the team is not playoff caliber, now its time to take stock in what you have and start scrutinizing your younger players. Frerotte is neither the present or the future of this franchise. He wanted a chance to start. He got it and he blew it.[/QUOT

Very good point.

I have seen enough of Gus. And Linehan can take his QB he likes so much and shove him 88 yds. where the sun don't shine. It would be farther but Gus can't throw for more yards. Ronnie was a monster and there's no way the ball should've been taken out of his hands and put in the hands of our worst starter on offense.

NEW SLOGAN: ENOUGH OF GUS!!

Ready to talk now?

If Nick Saban is going to be any good to this organization, he must name Sage Rosenfels the starting QB no later than this tuesday. No more b.s. no more excuses,
no more "we'll see were we are at later in the week" nonsense. This is beyond ridiculous, this coach is now trying to play us all for fools if he puts #11 back out there one more time and that will offend me to the point that I will start comparing him to DAVE WANNSTEDT.

In this case...it's better to be early and correct....then. Gus makes Feidler look like a HOF QB.

as soon as miami start on offense next sunday i want to hear we want sage chants till we get him

Sage will make some mistakes, but who the hell cares. He's far more accurate than this...
