Good point, but even worst case scenario is we went from a high 5th to a low 5th......pretty insignificant either way.

i think this will prove to be a good deal for us... as much as i love pat, his knee is suspect.

We have the #2 pick in the 5th round and they have #14.

So we gave up a pro-bowl CB for a #14 2nd round pick, and dropped our 5th round pick 12 slots????

I think he has had two knee operations. Bad knees on a cornerback=not good.

Because otherwise we would have gotten nothing for Pat and had to let him go as a free agent after this season because we couldn't afford him, and this year we would have had to cut other good players because of his cap numbers.

I think people are being alittle ridiculous about moving down 10 slots in the 5th rd. I don't think there is much drop off that late in the draft. Besides who says it's not a swap for both of kc's 5th rounders. That has not been clarified yet

Hopefully Pat's knee acts up a bit on October 23rd in Miami.....I'm not thrilled about AJ tossing the pill his way all day long.

That is great news about the surtain trade ,I dont think we are done trading,this is going to be a great draft .
 
I think KC really wanted Carlos Rodgers but when it became evident he wans't going to drop to 15 they made the deal now. GreenMonster
 
great news. now that we've got a second rounder who do y'all think we should take with it? i think its either david baas or noone. i can't stand another season with mckinney and sadly i dont think smith will turn out any good at center. baas is a nasty blocker and will make an instant improvement to this o-line.
