MERGED: Cheaters gonna cheat

Another reason to like the Tannebaum hire.... he totally understands the means the pats will go to to win...he is an antipatriotestablismentarian

Next year's Madden football Easter Egg, hit the right series of buttons and go into Belichick mode. When playing against another team, their playcalls will be available for you to view 2 out of 3 times before you call your play.

Just got back from town, "haters gunna hate" mode is in full effect in North Conway, NH.

Holy crap they really are delusional.

From some web site called PageSix.com:

:err:

Patriots owner Robert Kraft mingled with Judge Richard Berman, who overturned the NFL suspension of Tom Brady over his alleged role in Deflategate, at a Hamptons Labor Day party full of media and business power brokers.
Kraft was chatting with Berman at Discovery Communications chief David Zaslav and his wife Pam’s party at their East Hampton estate, also attended by Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Harvey Weinstein, Lloyd Blankfein, NY Giants co-owner Jon Tisch and wife Lizzie, Katie Couric, and Hilaria and Alec Baldwin.

Brady won the court battle Thursday, when Berman bashed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for “dispensing his own brand of industrial justice.” The ruling clears Brady to play in Thursday’s season opener.
A rep for the Patriots told Page Six, “It was a chance encounter at a social event with hundreds of guests. There was a brief introduction and an exchange of pleasantries that lasted no more than a couple of minutes.”

Chance encounter????? RIGHT :chuckle:

All their hate for Goodell is misdirected... They should hang a banner for him at Gillette because without his little cover up, congress gets involved, Kraft sells the team to someone who moves it to LA, and Belichick is playing shuffleboard and doing infomercials with Pete Rose.

Yeah chance my ass...

Specter was at the time the ranking Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee. A former federal prosecutor, he had cut his investigative teeth as a lawyer for the Warren Commission, and two decades earlier he had gone after the NFL for its antitrust exemption. Specter was now 77 years old and undergoing chemotherapy to treat non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the complications from which would claim his life in October 2012...

...In his 2012 book, "Life Among the Cannibals," Specter wrote that a powerful friend -- he wouldn't name the person -- told him that if he "laid off the Patriots," there could be a lot of money for him in Palm Beach. Specter told the friend, "I couldn't care less."

The NFL is neck deep in trouble and so their answer is to try and bribe a rich elderly man who has cancer?

How completely and totally predictable.

How the deuce do you record 40 teams?

I knew something was up (a few weeks ago) when Peyton wondered if the visitors locker room @ Gillette was bugged?

If enough owners stepped up they could force out Goodell and Kraft. They both have to go.

No one will do anything and nothing will change... As long as the NFL continues to print money, continue to expect the status quo.

At this point, the NFL sells itself. Goodell does nothing in that dept that a pet rock couldn't pull off.
