MERGED: Cleveland game: COVID issues?

Fitz is Fitz and I am happy to have him on the team. Tua is a rookie thrown into the NFL in adverse times, he has been good not great. I don't see the other rooks as doing any better in the W column. He'll be fine as we develop the offense around his traits and in the meantime if Fitz has to be brought in to air it out then so be it, we are all getting along and on the verge of playoff football. If Tua struggles next year after a full off- season/preseason (hopefully) I'll be concerned until then I like what I see and what he sees this year under Fitz tutelage should pay dividends.

Actually I thought that too but he isn’t. He’s been defending Tua. What he said is not wrong, our offense has struggled. I mean we ran all over NE, if that doesn’t happen do we win? We had what 45 yards passing against LV who can’t defend the pass, that’s not good. This is a tough spot for any QB to be in with our weapons, especially a rookie.

If that doesn't happen...what? If Rogers doesn't...If Mahommes doesn't...If D.Henry doesn....Do they win? Is that where we are now in our Tua bashing?

You are not a true Dolphins fan because a true fan just wants to win. A guy like you would love to see Fitz crash and burn so you could pound your chest. You would rather Tua falter and cost us the playoffs if it came down to it. I want to win and I want Tua taking us there.

You don't know me or why I even picked this name or avatar. It was originally an homage to Minkah Fitzpatrick, he is the original "FitzMagic" and believe it or not he trademarked it or tried. He really let me down with his attitude but low and behold here is this beer drinking, good time having QB just letting it go. He is respected by his teammates, is a leader and is now a teacher and folk hero.

I think I made the right choice in keeping the name and adding the avatar. I have a lot of $ invested in Tua gear and have been waiting for 20 years for a QB of Tua's caliber. So believe what you want.

He has excellent skills at changing the pace against the D

Was all of Tua's sub 100 yard games and sack taking on the D? He had a bad game, Tua has had several but the D is a lot better. Can you say that? You know it is true. Even if Tua does not throw int's his three and outs put a lot of pressure on the D.

Is it really that hard to cheer for both? Geez.

Dude, if you sincerely think Tua in this moment in time gives us a better shot at victory than Fitz then you are lying to yourself. Periopd. But Tua backers are all about the experience. I am a Dolphin fan that wants to win, big difference. If Tua was going to beat the Raiders why did Flores pull him? Flores know a little more than you.

Fitz might be more dangerous in these weather conditions. I fully expect Tua to bounce back as he has before and it will be nice to get him Parker back.

I’m not even trying to bash Tua and it’s being taken as bashing Tua. Why is saying our passing game will/could struggle with practice squad WR’s bashing Tua? What am I missing? Those other QB’s may struggle with Mac Hollins as their number 1, you never know. Wasn’t the big problem in GB a couple years back that Rodgers had no weapons? Saying Tua and the passing game could struggle vs Buffalo with practice squad WR’s is not bashing Tua. Saying the passing game may have struggled vs NE with even less (no Gesicki) is not bashing Tua. Loosen up!

Do you expect our passing game to light it up Sunday in Buffal? Be careful you don’t want to bash Tua.

Its not hard to cheer for both... But its hard to let guys going around screaming Fitz gives the team the best chance to win. The board is broken right now. Seems like no one is interested in talking about the amazing position the Fins have found themselves in this season. They're more interested in debating who's responsible for it. I fall into that trap very often so its not like Im any part of the solution.

I will tell you one thing, with the state of the offense as it is right now, there's no doubt in my mind Tua gives the Fins a better chance to win. Yes Tua has bad games, but his bad games still keep the team within striking distance... When Fitz has a bad game, no so much. The fact Tua starts only confirms that. They dont pull Tua because he's playing bad, they're pulling him in situations where they figure they simply dont have the talent to score points in those particular situations.

They put Fitz in when in desperation mode, because thats what Fitz is... And thats great, its not a bad way to go about things and I understand the strategy... Problem is alot of guys look at that miracle throw and go: "See! Tua wouldnt pull that off!!!"... Of course he wouldnt, hell Fitz himself probaly pulls that off 1 time out of a 100...

I get what you're saying... The board is broken and maybe I mis ID'd you for something you're not by only lazily looking at your username, who knows... If thats the case, my bad.
