Philbins stubborness will be end of us in 2014 again. Lazor may be our next HC

i was just told he had mike rocco as his qb the year he finished 3rd in the acc...well i can tell ya that qb sucked something awful so i guess it's possible he could end up working out for us...

i guess...i'm gonna get some of uvas old offensive concept stuff under him sent to me...

A question I've asked myself lately, is it really Turner's fault the o-line was so bad? 99% of us on this forum complained about how ****ty the talent was that Ireland supplied for the o-line. Hell it's even been reported that Philbin knew at the beginning of TC that Martin couldn't handle the LT position and told Ireland to get a replacement and Ireland did nothing. So is it really Turner's fault that he couldn't turn chicken **** into chicken salad.

Good points but the whole Martin / Incognito mess happened under his nose as well.
i will give him credit for patching together a decent OL after those guys left the team with Brenner and Garner picking up the slack.

Just catching up on the news! This is great for the Phins! Philbin got the guy he wanted and we get someone who has a strong background with developing QB's.

By my accounts it happened under all of their noses. Even the players didn't know about it. What was really telling to me is that the players backed Cogs and not Martin. If Cogs was being that big of a dick, it would have gotten out. You know Omar/Armondo would not have let it stay in house. I have a feeling when this comes out Martin will look like a two faced ***** who couldn't handle the pressure/demotion.

I doubt it will happen but I'm hoping the texts between Martin and Cogs get leaked. I bet there is some funny as **** in those conversations.

He took a breath, thought about it a second, and it dawned on him that in taking any position with the Lions would mean he would be in Detroit....not that there's anything wrong with that. :)

Also he looks like a sideline OC. It seems that sideline OC's have more success than OC's that are in the boxes.
