MERGED: Dolphins trade Vontae to Colts

This is an atrocious trade. I can't believe we continue to **** up like this. I can't believe we continue to place 2nd/3rd round picks at the hands of Ireland, that guy can't draft for ****! If we're going to trade Vontae I want a proven, established player that can actually help us. Second round pick really? That means we didn't get equal value, we'll just get another Egnew to replace Vontae.

Who Effing cares about next year! We are officially the laughing stock of the NFL. Let's trade are best corner back not even in the prime of his career for squat! Were in for a long season. Keep this nonsense up and Dolphins will have no fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Its almost as if people havent been paying attention. Which is amazing considering all the bashing this team takes here on FH. People............... THIS TEAM HAS BLOWN HARRRRD for years now. You know what that tells me........ THE PLAYERS ARENT GOOD!!!!

There isnt a player on this team right now aside from Ryan Tannehill and Cam Wake which would make me lose any sleep or feel any concern if we traded them. Im like Mike Singletary here..... I WANT WINNERS. These players that have been here..... CANT WIN WITH EM. CANT COACH WITH EM. Cant do it.

**** these players. Yea, Sparano was terrible and was a big reason we were losing, but these players just arent any good. This roster is completely void of talent at playmaking positions and let me tell you Vontae Davis was not one of the few we had. OK.

Its just so odd..... Somehow I get labeled as a "hater" who is always down on this team. Yet, of all the so called "haters" or Debbie Downers, why am I the only one that seems to like getting rid of these **** players who have produced nothing but **** seasons for us the last few years? You know what it tells me......that maybe a lot of those guys really are just phins haters and they actually like losing. Yet, somehow I get labeled around here as that. Im the guy who wants this team to be successful as much or moreso than anyone on this ****ing planet.

I just dont get it. How can someone complain so much about how this team sucks, and yet when we move a player that has been a big part of that sucking for several years now for a draft pick, that I understand people worry about Irelands ability to turn that into a good player, I totally get that, but at least this pick gives us the HOPE that we can turn it into a playmaker that we desperately need.

All these people talk about how bad we need playmakers..... cause its true. And here we get handed a 2nd round pick that could be one of those guys we need in return for a guy we dont need that has a bad attitude and contributed to our sucking for years and those same people are somehow pissed off......... :bobdole: SMFH.

What the **** do some of you people want???? Wait I know..... just to hate on the phins.

At best he was average,he came to practice hung over and this year he shows up out of shape.He loses his starting position as well.It was not going to get any better.

BTW, don't think for a second that this team and its personnel is not being directed by Joe Philbin. First Marshall and now Davis. This has Philbin's fingerprints all over it.

I have disagree. If you watched the last HK episode, Philbin was recorded saying, he has input on all personnel decisions but Ireland has the final say.
 
The way Carrol and Smith played Fri night makes me think they have a good reason. But the way they've played in the past? Ehh.

Philbin is canning the thugs.

He wants no part of an underachieving head case South Beach fixture whose 2 primary head coaching mentors (and the 2 guys who thought he was The Next Thing) were the twin geniuses Ron Zook and Tony Sparano. With friends like them who needs enemies...
