OMG, I don't even know how to react. For those that don't know he was a starting DE and heck of a playmaker for the Miami Hurricanes.

I'm stunned. He was shot and killed at an apartment complex. No more details than that.

I actually thought he had a bright NFL future.

UM player shot and killed

Details are sketchy at the moment, but sources are saying its Bryan Pata.

What a horrible tragedy. Prayers go out to his family.
 
That horrible. I feel so bad for his family. Do you guys remember over the summer two of the UM players noticed a suspecious car outside of their dorm, and when they went out to investigate, they got shot at? One of the UM guys was shot in the butt. Luckily, the other UM guy shot back.

They said, they don't feel safe in coral gables. People(savages) think they have money and try to rob them.
 
Miami's Pata Shot To Death

University of Miami defensive tackle Bryan Pata was shot and killed Tuesday night at an apartment complex in Miami, Miami-Dade County police said. Police had no other details. Pata, a 6-foot-4, 272-pound senior, is from Miami.



daaaaaaaaaaamn. what a shame.
 
jesus christ....RIP....there always seems to be more bad news than good...it is really unfortunate!!!:shakeno:
