MERGED: For once and for all Brown no backup...

i already said that. you agreed with me than you chicken out and said you didn't know you are saying the same thing i said.

Where did you say Brown would be the best RB in this years draft?
1st off looks to me like you said because Caddy got the most starts at the position, he was the starter, no where saying that you still thought Brown would be the better player. How about this one, Brown was on the field more then Caddy (In one way of the other), does that make him a more important starter then Caddy?

Like you said Brown was a better blocker and reciever. that is why they had Caddy start at RB. and used Brown in other areas. it does not matter what the reason. the player that gets the most playing time at a position is the starter.

2ndly I did not chicken out as you call it, you might be used to chickening out of statements you make, but if I mean something, I will argue it to the end, I misread your post, you are of the opinion that Caddy was the starter because he was the better RB.....Wrong!

Since some of you believe everything you read, I have something for you:

Ronnie Brown Interview

WOW you can find a homemade website with no proof of where the "interview" came from. if you would like i could hurry up and make a web page with a Ronnie Brown "interview" that has him saying he is retireing from football because Ballet is his true calling. at least all my posts had sources.

Ronnie Brown is a backup - Check

Ronnie Brown has the best skills for the NFL - Check

Ronnie Brown was the best back coming out of 2005 NFL Draft - Check

Being a backup in college has nothing to do with how good of a RB your are - Check

Not one of your sites had sources. They were all hearsay. Just like my website.

this thread is not about how good Ronnie will be. it's about did he backup williams and that answer is yes.

Mine came from newspapers, auburns website. and sports writers. yours did not even have a reporters name or who he worked for or even a date for the "interview". so that is a BS web page that is homemade.

Brown has better hands than Benson. But Benson is the better runner.

On what do you base that on, because Benson got the ball so many more times then Brown? We all agree we saw very little of Brown, and it has been said of the three backs, the one with the higher ceiling is Brown. Brown has the same size as Benson, has better hands then Benson, almost as strong as Benson, much faster then Benson. What if in the NFL with good coaching he hits his stride, and becomes a very effective Power Runner, now all of a sudden he becomes better then Benson because he has much better speed to turn the corner, and take it outside. You can't be sure of who is the better runner in the NFL yet.

Did Ronnie Brown start at RB - No not if Caddy played

Did Ronnie Brown start at FB or some other position - Almost every game

Should anyone care if Brown didn't start at the RB position - NO he is the best RB

It wasn't even Auburn's website. It was the national champs website.

Newsflash: Sports writers DO NOT know everything. A reporter once said Marino would be a bust in the NFL and a reporter once said that Leaf would make a great franchise QB. Unlike you, I don't believe everything I read. I'd rather see it with my own eyes. I watched Auburn play numerous times, thus the reason for me wanting Ronnie as our RB. You on the other hand, never watched him play and are just going by hearsay.

OOO...good one. How about I play with Kelly Bundy and leave that non-heterosexual stuff to you. BTW, you give Jason Taylor a bad name by using that as your name!! Just my opinion of course!

I hope you are not a Buckeye fan too. Being from Ohio and all. Damn you give my home state a bad name.

NOTE TO OTHER POSTERS: Not all Ohioians are that bad!! I am the perfect example!!

No, nobody is saying you said Brown sucks (At least I am not), but you do seem to be saying Caddy will be a better Runner then Brown, I just do not agree. I like Brown's size/speed combination, and I think that will help him in the long run more then Caddy.
