Does anybody think that we can get him on the team there has been word that the vikings are thinking of shiping him out im not sure if he`s gonna be a FA or if there trying to trade him i personally would rather have Culpepper than Cutler but will be more than happy to take Cutler if we cant get Culpepper. Can you just imagine Culpepper,T.O,CC,McMike,Ronnie (Ricky???)?

Ricky and our 1st pick for Daunte

Im willing to do that, but I dont know how anyone else would feel about that

No way ........a first round pick is insane for a guy wo we dont even know will even be able to play the first half of the season and wont know if he will ever be the same...and without moss look what he proved nothing....he is crap without a big play reciever ...but if he came here he would have lots of targets...and i would love! to have him...but just not for a first....

If that's how you feel, you need to change your sig.

I would never trade our first and ricky for that culpepper. He cant even practice till after training camp starts and he cant even play till after a few games anyways. maybe a conditional fourth but thats about as high as a draft pick as i would give up.

i wouldnt even trade ricky for culpepper straight up. culpepper had major knee surgeries and he has a big contract, miami doesnt need him to take up most of the cap, plus hes a fumbling machine, and hes overrated

some of us may still think we have speilman and wanny on board...because they would be the only ones stupid enough to make a move like that for a player who's future is uncertain...lol.

:D  :sidelol:

I dont know, there are a lot of boats in Miami....... And women on said boats....
Seriously I wouldnt be that shocked to see him traded but I dont know how much I would want to give up now that Scoty is gone.
The one trade for Daunte that makes a little sense to me is Bulger to the Vikings for Culpepper straight up. Scoty would get his qb to run his offense and the Vikings would get rid of the unhappy culpepper while at the same time replacing a pro bowl qb with another pro bowl qb. My guess would be that Daunte would be willing to redo his deal so that he could be reunited with his old mentor without killing the vikings cap in the trade. I have no idea whether Bulger has a no trade clause or what the cap hit for him would be for the rams if thay traded him though.

If the Vikes really want to dump him there is a way that we can get him....However, the man had 3 of the 4 ligaments in his knee torn. The medical guys are ALL in agreement that it probably will take a calendar year to recover from. Even if he is superhuman and it only takes 9 months, that still doesn't have him able to practice until late August. At this point, he won't be able to even run until early to mid August...No trade will take place until he can pass a physical. If he doesn't pass the physical until Sept or Oct....he may even miss the trade deadline next season....(sometime in early October, I think)....Why would we try to make a trade for a man that is not healed ?? What good would he do us next season if he can't even come to us until October...

I just don't see that the Vikes will be able to trade him and am not sure I'd want to trade for him, because once we do, we assume the risk of his not being able to return to his old form due to the extent of the injury...he needs to prove he can come back and play before I'd trade for him....

WHEN/IF he is healed, then we might look at trading for him, not before...

The upside of trading for him befor he is healed is that he could probably be had for a lot cheaper than if we waited untill he was fully healed. It would have a lot more risk but it might be worth the reward.

Culpepper aquisition is just un realistic, too many question marks for the saban regime. Can he recover, can he exist without Randy Moss, and can he play for peanuts drive around in a ford escort with five offensive lineman and juggle? Ain't gonna happen. I could see favre in a dolphin uniform before DC, and that probbly won't happen either....but never say never
