No, really. I wouldn't. No player is worth the risk that RW poses. I don't hold anything against him. I feel bad for him most of the time with his social phobia, pot problem and general inability to "fit" into the NFL lifestyle - when he is such a gifted athlete. That said, the best thing for the fins would be to trade him after a successful season. I mean it would be a sappy sweet story for him to come back and give another great 5 years to the fins, but alll that time, he would be a high risk, a loose canon. Trade him for a more solid player or pick, even if less of a star. That would be the best thing for the team. After the trade, I would like to see RW do well enough to make himself happy (but not in games against us of course!).

So you see, you are just mouthing off about what you think you know about where veryone else's head is or will be. That's some crystal ball.

Has a good year. Comes and shows "he is back". But then we should trade him for a more "solid player" or "pick"? Pssst, you're not guaranteed a more solid player than him if he performs as we are implying..especially if it is only a pick.

And this was never about Miami as a city, it was about WANNSTEDT. I don't think he needs to go anywhere to be happy playing football.

Oh, and as I have stated before here...with my educational background I feel fairly confident when I make guesstimates about a MAJORITY (ie. not "all") of a populations action....because that's my job.

I really hope this is true. IF Ricky Williams comes back and IF his head and heart are in it, he will make our team much better. I have no doubt about this.
And I am one of the few people on this board who doesn't have to hide his excitement. While I hated how Ricky left the team, I wasn't one of the ones crucifying him. It sucked what he did, but it's over. If Ricky is allowed back on the team, I would assume that it is the support of the BOTH the coaching staff AND the players. If they are willing to give him another chance, I certainly am.
