(Merged x3) Jets Jenkins torn ACL

Yea their defense improved statistically without him last year, didnt it? The Jets will still be in the hunt. I'd be more worried about that offense than the defense.

Tough break Junc. Doesn't matter what team somebody plays for, it sucks to see injuries happen. But they are part of the game and your defense did well without him last season. No doubt the end of his career.
 
Gotta feel for the guy... having to endure the rehab all off season just to come back and have to do it all over again... really sucks. His career is most likely over and like they said on Jets insider.... another Jets FA bust but he had the history.... big risk... big reward.
 
The loss of Jenkins is a big blow, but as Junc said, the Jets is far beyond Jenkins or any individual. Doubt very much any of the Dolphins coaches are expecting a weak Jets Defense just because they lost Jenkins.
 
It will be a blow to them for sure, and it sucks cuz Jenkins is actually one of the good guys in that POS franchise, but they arent going to miss much of a beat without him. They are far to good in their front 7 to matter much.
 
Kris Jenkins done for year

Jenkins sustained a torn acl last night and is officially done for the year. As much as I hate the Jets u never wanna see an injury to anyone. Sky is starting to fall for the Jets
