that's where I'm at with him just about exactly. I'd much rather McCord who was playing in a quick strike offense - has a fast release - I see as a much better fit - the problem is he's rising as well!

Yeah I have McCord as qb3 in this draft, he’s the best pure passer in the draft and his skillset is a perfect fit for McDaniel’s system.

That's ok. We don't need a day 1 starter, we need a back up that can be groomed into one.

Honestly, I'd be happy using a 2nd round pick on him and letting him sit on the bench all year. I'm just not sure he makes it to us.

Even if he falls somewhere between Rich Gannon and Bret Favre, Jaxon Dart is worth a 2nd. Even if he's closer to Gannon.

that's where I'm at - qb3 but at a significantly lower price tag than the 2 above him.
 
Who gives a ****. Only after the fact will anyone know who was a good or bad pick.

Levis was always a major project, and seemed like a blockhead to me coming out of college.

I'm still curious Zach Wilson, unless its what is between the ears, he should be fixable.

He’s not. He was just never a good prospect. He was a project coming out just like Dart is.

These are the guys when everyone is actually watching the tape during football season are 4th/5th rounders.

Offseason comes along, people get qb desperate and start to focus on individual traits while ignoring the actual tape. I’m sure Dart will run well and arm strength will be on display and people will go crazy and he’ll get overdrafted.
