Actually he put it smack in the middle. The game went up to -24 today. I talked to two sportsbook managers tonight who were sick about that FG. It was the only high volume game of the day and the only number they didn't want was Florida by exactly 23.

But I agree, no doubt Meyer's tactics were designed to keep the alumni wagerers happy. You could tell Brent Musberger knew what was going on. That's why he said, "Florida wants to punch in another one, to get to 30 (30-3)."
