Michael Crabtree visiting

I like this because it allows us to go after Waynes or Kendrick without worrying that we're neglecting the WR position.

A whole 251 yards of YAC last year, which was 73rd in the league.

Crabtree: 251 YAC
Hartline: 146 YAC

- Michael Crabtree replaces Brian Hartline

- Kenny Stills replaces Mike Wallace

- Jordan Cameron replaces Charles Clay

A little off topic, but I think yards after catch is an overrated stat. A guy who averages 14.8 yards per catch with 4.5 yards of YAC is exactly the same as a guy averaging 14.8 yards per catch with 2.1 yards of YAC.

Yes, but when your game revolves around throws in the 5-15 yds, yac matters.

Huh?

Crabtree looks super slow... i would pass on this guy. He looks like hes running in slow motion out there.

Would really like this signing. Man the Dolphins are doing everything smart for the first time I can remember.

Pay the performers, cast off the overpriced junk.

Post-Achilles injury, Crabtree has lost a step, but he can still run, still get open, still play with more strength than post-injury Brian Hartline.

All the below Crabtree plays are post-achilles injury.

Nobody is saying that Crabtree is megatron. It's just that he's a good fit for Tannehill's skillset, he can still produce, he won't be expensive, he'll be a good bang-for-the-buck, and he's an upgrade over post-injury Brian Hartline.

Crabtree would be solid, great hands, good blocker, good routes, good size. That injury really F'ed him though so it would have to be a fair deal like 2yr 6 mil
