Why do people always clamour on and on about change and acceptance? The ancient world accepted and openly practiced gay relationships!! This is NOT a new thing of our era, it has always been present. BTW, change and acceptance is not always a good thing, nor does it always bring about progress either. For instance, the world went into a downward spiral for centuries after the fall of the Roman Empire.

What, like we have to embrace everything that everyone puts out there or says? We have to accept everything that everyone wants to do? Look, I am not demeaning the guy one bit, each to his own I guess. But if he has the RIGHT to be gay, and has the RIGHT to be outspoken about it…then other people have the SAME RIGHT to do so in their opposing views.

Haha thanks, but I really don’t care to be honest. People kill me how they spout off at the mouth about their beliefs and all, but its not right for someone else to have the opposing viewpoint. I just don’t get it. Its like having a debate between 2 people, but only 1 gets to state his case and the other can’t say anything. Hmmm…
 
Its utterly amazing to me how fickle people are. How they actually think that our generation is the only generation in our worlds history to ever have to go through change. If people would really open their eyes and minds, instead of just saying they do, and also actually study a little history, they will see that we are NOT the new found better-than-our-predicessors, know-it-all-generation like a lot of people think we are.

According to The Hill, lobbyist Jack Burkman said Monday that he’s preparing legislation that would ban gay players from the NFL.

“We are losing our decency as a nation,” Burkman said in a statement. “Imagine your son being forced to shower with a gay man. That’s a horrifying prospect for every mom in the country. What in the world has this nation come to?”

What has the nation come to indeed.

While Burkman didn’t name any of the politicians who support the idea of preventing Michael Sam from joining an NFL team and, presumably, finding any of the closeted gay men who have been playing pro football and eject them from the sport, Burkman says he has amassed support for the bill.

“If the NFL has no morals and no values, then Congress must find values for it,” Burkman said.

Coming to South Florida would be great for his career. He could get plenty of sacks in Wilton Manors.
