report is Walker is faster than they thought and will be given looks first on return.
Just finished watching the spring game. We'll be fine at QB. Both looked good but I'll give the nod to O'Korn. I think he is more of a natural talent than Speight. Both moved the ball well against the defense which was surprising. I know Don Brown can't be real happy with that.
Bush, McCray, Isaac, Cole, Mitchell, Thomas all stood out.
banning camps isn't as huge of a blow to Michigan as you'd think Harbaugh liked doing them, but hardly a big hit. But SEC and NCAA is righfully getting called out for the ban
Official visits are paid for by the university so anyone being recruited can travel anywhere they want. The ones it will hurt are those one and two stars with potential who could gain exposure. However, there are still plenty of camps for that. I really think the rest of the country got a break here, they really don't want the SEC and ACC big boys holding camps all over the country. It might have benefited Michigan and Ohio State but would have killed a lot of other schools without the monster budget and would have even further concentrated the premier talent into a handful of schools. FSU would have been one of those schools so it's not a sour grapes thing, I just like that there is some parity. The loser in the camp issue is the kids that can't afford to travel far from home. These camps got them exposure to alot more schools obviously increasing their opportunity to get into a school, play football and get an education. The SEC and ACC deserve the backlash they're getting and I wouldnt be surprised if approval for this doesnt come up again in the future.

Harbaugh and Meyer will get theirs with or without the camps. There are plenty of camps for these kids to get exposure, they just won't get as much out of state exposure. Chances are though, if a kid's got talent at all then he's getting a scholarship somewhere. I personally don't give a crap because FSU has plenty of budget to do whatever but I'd just as soon keep as much of our fertile recruiting grounds protected as possible.Official Visit to the university is paid for not a trip to a camp. Michigan coaches don't do these solo. Mid level coaches help out and kids that are restricted in travel because of finances get more exposure when camps come to their backyard. Not sure how anyone can argue against giving these kids the most opportunities they can get. As for the SEC dominance, the rest of the country is catching up and Saban doesn't like it. What's interesting is that a couple of conferences (Pac12 and Big 12) voted against it yet rumor is that the majority of their coaches were in favor of it.
If I supported a team in Florida I wouldn't want Harbaugh in my backyard either. It's a ripe recruiting area with big schools vying for some of the best talent in the country.
As always you give an objective and honest thought. Few fans from the SEC and ACC teams that I have spoken to can admit that this is a part of the issue.Harbaugh and Meyer will get theirs with or without the camps.
