Guys run patterns short of the sticks cuz the DB is usually there 2 yards deeper and make achieving the completion harder. The thought is 'get the ball, Then fight for the yards', IMO.
I dont agree.
How about start the cut deeper than the yard marker than come back just a little to make the throw easier to complete? Run a 7 yard out then come back about a yard?

Do we have time to run a 7 yard route when we need it? Because it seems to me teams consistently get pressure sending four and dropping in zone. We definitely have a problem scheming guys open, our o.c.’s are pathetic.

I really hope Miami re-signs him. Don’t care about his blocking, he more than makes up for it by being a legit offensive weapon and is actually durable who isn’t injured a lot.

We have a history of NOT resigning playmakers and then having to draft replacements or sign a lesser FA - Reggie Bush, Lamar Miller, Charles Clay, Jarvis Landry, Olivier Vernon etc. - as another poster pointed out - we think these players aren’t worth it but then we give stupid money to lesser players. Resign the man.
