Not in any way, whatsoever.

You would first have to assume they liked each other.
Then you would have to make the leap that their friendship overrode their obligation to do what is best for their team.

I guess I could see something like a 5th round throw in as a favor, but even then it is going to be a chip that can be called in in a negotiation down the road.

Passing on a top player, or accepting less in a trade up is a great way for someone to get fired.
