Apparently, the pre-draft Pitts speculation and all the additions to the TE group, must have lit a fire. Good on him. It's good to see him still trying to improve his game.
dude no way! i live in AC area too (linwood) that's awesome! lucky youI visited my college and the hard rock in AC last week. I ran into Gisecki at Oyster Creek bar after a round of golf. He's a good old South Jersey Piney. The bartender told me he was a hell of a local basketball and volleyball star. He was a really nice guy, really cool. I was going to ask for a photo, but it looked like he was trying to sit down and have a family dinner. I think he was visiting before leaving for OTAs.
I also think thats exactly how they went about it... Its the most effecient way of doing things and also the one thats less likely to create any kind of confusion/friction.I'm willing to bet this is already established that one will be the GameDay play caller while the other is the lead on preparing the weekly gameplan. Like every organization with equal levels of leadership, it works just fine when lines of responsibility is clearly defined. It's when they aren't that people starts stepping on each other's toes and problems arise; leadership from the top prevents this.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the same play caller every week. Some opponents will be easier for one coach to 'get' than others. I know there are times I watch games and I feel like I know what the other team is running most of the time and some games where I'm surprised more of the time.I'm willing to bet this is already established that one will be the GameDay play caller while the other is the lead on preparing the weekly gameplan. most weren't wearing anything!
i know what most of our Fins look like!
I really hope thats not the case... Because then it becomes a case where you have 2 guys having the same role, its just not efficient IMO. If you really want to get the most out of having 2 guys running an offense, then just split the tasks logically and get the 2 guys to specialize on their tasks.I wouldn't be surprised if it's not the same play caller every week.
