Mort and Adam: Philbin Wanted to Cut Incognito

Well all teams have injuries but can't help to think what this offense could have been with Gibson and Keller healthy, or say just Keller. This could have increased the scoring per game just enough to pull out a couple of games. I still question the offensive play calling at times though.

I hate to quote Omar, but make it work.

I like how people automatically think Joe should come back based on this report. SMH. He is such a poor coach. Not sure why people cannot see that.

Boi Adam and Shef are really trying hard to validate their initial claim of painting Incognito as a bad person. smh.....

Their initial claim was spot on. Incognito has now been kick off EVERY team he has been a part of. Man, some people refuse see the obvious with this bozo.

IMPROVEMENT from last year. The team has more talent and is not playing as well as last year.

Where do you get this "more talent" crap? They don't have more talent. They have Wallace, who has underachieved, and Grimes. Other than that, they have LESS talent. The LB core has LESS talent. The OL has LESS talent. The RB's have LESS talent. And with the way Jones is playing, the safeties have LESS talent.

How old is Gus Malzahn?

I brought that up in another thread. They guy seems to make teams a winner in a hurry. Don't think his offense is well-suited to the NFL though...but I bet he would make a lot better head coach than what we have now.

I think they upgraded at receiver. I think they got more athletic at LB...though I would have kept Burnett and Dansby. Grimes in an upgrade. Young players are a year older. The players from the previous year have an entire year in Joe's system.

At what point does Joe have to coach these guys up? Or does he need the most elite talent that he cannot even find a way to **** it?

I don't think you get rid of Joe so fast. It's too soon. A couple of great coaches started out not so good. The one guy off the top my head is Joe Gibbs.

See if these people do not want Joe out after today if the team loses...Rex will coach circles around him. However, I respect Rex as an intellectual in football schematics.

Win or lose I'm for keeping Joe. 2nd year head coach with a young QB and a team riddled with injuries and lacking in depth and talent at key positions but still a chance of making the playoffs. Ireland needs to be shown the door...

Rex is a very good coach. He has no QB. In fact, Joe should have been bashing Rex around, but could not capitalize. Rex has no chance from what has been given to him by the GM.

I don't feel bad for him. It is what it is.

hayden, you do realize there is four more games to be played.

fools rush in.

I made that point later. There is still time. However, to be fair, one game does warrant him demonstrating progress this year though it was a great game yesterday.
