Most Optimistic Offseason

The Johnson hire, Nick Satan, and the Fat Tuna. Sidebar, some here will bitch about the owner, GM , or coach(s) not knowing how good things are. You could have the Carolina owner, Indy, Snyder, or any number of rich incompetents meddling instead of an owner that pays football people to run things and players to play. He pays good too.

2008
The introduction of Bill Parcells was huge. Parcells was so respected at that point. The fact we were able to steal him away from Atlanta also felt like such a huge win at the time for a losing franchise like the Dolphins. It just felt like we had finally won something when we got Parcells.

2012
The acquisition of someone from the Packers offensive staff was neat but the selection of a 1st round QB was historic. It was clear at that point the NFL was all about QBs and the Dolphins hadn't selected a QB in R1 since Marino. When he won the starting job it was seen as such a big thing, a new step in the right direction for a franchise finally waking up.

2023
We were virtually guaranteed a Playoff spot and let's face it, we all assumed we'd be a strong team at that point and we'd finally win a game in January.
