Hey Everyone...just another fins fan that loves to dream and keep positive every year....
I want to see everyones Miami ideal Mock Draft thats somewhat realistic. Any thoughts?

Round 1
Minkah Fitzpatrick..
Ive heard this guy is a plug and play defensive back in any spot besides the boundary corner... Id start him at the free and move TJ down to will linebacker ... this way we fix two positions with one pick and keeps speed on our defense

Round 2
Hayden Hurst
This guy is the only complete TE in the draft. He just screams competitor and would be an automatic uprade from soft and slow Julius Thomas

Round 3
Maurice Hurst
Round 1 talent left until the 3rd Round because of aheart condition. Lots of DTs in the past have been flagged for heart conditions and some have overcame while some are still having trouble. For example Nick Fairley had a few decent years in the league with Lions before he was redflagged in his medical check up after signing with the saints... teams will be afraid to touch until round 3

Round 4a
Shaquem Griffin
Darling of the draft.. another player teams might be afraid to touch because of medical condition... but 4.38 40 as a backer ... nuff said

Round 4b
Jaylen Samuels
This could end up being a favorite pick of mine. Mr. Do it All for NC State reminds me of Charles Clay
Imagine a package that uses him as TE and Hurst as another TE with still playmakers on the outside ..if RT cannot produce with that something is wrong...

Round 5
Luke Falk
A project for Gase to play around with. Who knows what could happen. He could develop in to the next late round QB stud.

Round 6
Derrick Nnadi
You dont replace Suh with just one player but you add two young aggresive DTs to your already young group and let them learn from the vets of your goup..thats why I love that the fins resigned Hayes..they should slide him insude keeping Quinn Harris Wake and Branch outside and keep as much speed as possible o the defense .. anyways with so many DTs and DEs we can keep our linemen fresh by rotating constantly

Round 7
Taylor Hearn
1. You don't go through a draft without taking an OL prospect
2. You take prospects that are used to winning.. so you take prospects from the likes of Clemson

Not bad but there's a pretty good chance the first 3 guys are gone before those spots. Same for Luke Falk and we really need another RB

I don't think we have a 5th. Also Tannen-bum hasn't signed a kicker so now we have to draft one.

I love that round 1 pick.

Trade down in first, get a second and third. Draft lb, qb, tight end, safety, guard in first 3 rounds. Get rb and kicker on day 3. Back ups and st for rest.

We don't have a 5th this year. This is what we have:
  • 1st round | 11th overall
  • 2nd round | 42nd overall
  • 3rd round | 73rd overall
  • 4th round | 123rd overall (from CLE through CAR)
  • 4th round | 131st overall (from NE through PHI)
  • 6th round | 209th overall (compensatory – from LAR through KC)
  • 7th round | 223rd overall (from TB)
  • 7th round | 229th overall

Nice mock.

1. James - I think Fitzpatrick will be gone.
2. Michel - Might be dreaming that he lasts this long.
3 Jewell -lb
4. Thompson- DT
4. Wisconsin TE name escapes me
6. BPA
7. BPA

I like it, but now way is Griffin available in round 4 and Falk in round 5. Not bad at all though. Griffin would be a good fit for us.
I think there is a very good chance a one armed player is still there in the 4th

Don’t touch Jewell. I believe he will pull a Chris Borland and retire before the end of his rookie contract. He doesn’t love football and it shows in his lack of desire to watch film. He is banking on a quick payday. That’s it.

I hate the fact that he is prejudged on his hand but I do understand it. He has both his arms only missing his hand. I live in SFL and got to watch every game last year. This guy is legit. Better than most two handed players. In two years at lb has 100 solo tackles, 66 assists, 33.5 for loses. 18.5 sacks and 2 ints. The guy is freakish athletic and has a crazy motor, think ZT. I can see him going 3/4 pretty easily. One hand hasnt slowed JPP down!
