i'm not really concerned with the off-the-field antics. the only problem i have with wanny is, he can't seem to make a decision. if we have another cox, i think we'll have problems with the rest of the team!

Micheal Pittman has some serious off field issues.

Some people work best when they're angry!(i.e. Micheal Jordan) When you can compete the way Micheal Pittman has ON THE FIELD; this is what I think of OFF THE FIELD issues:

:monkey: Pittmans fiancee

You say that like its a bad thing. Cox brought fire to an otherwise passive team. This squad could USE some scare tactics dont ya think! I loved Cox, not so much for his play, that wasnt bad mind you, but for his attitude, his rawness, the guy is tough, no doubt about that! If Micheal Pittman could bring 1/2 as much passion to Offensive meetings, as Cox did to team meetings, we may just scare somebody for once. Thats a small part of the teams problem, they dont intimidate anybody! Nobody had goosepimples when they saw our Dolphins on their schedule, nobody. Now Im not saying signing Pittman would solve that problem(because I dont think hes anything like Cox), this is just a reply to your post saying that he would be another BC!;)

i liked cox in the beginning..............

but i soon got tired of making excuses for his 15 yard penalties, the only guy i knew who could draw em in bunches. i wonder how many games ths fins lost because of one of his tantrums on the field that killed a drive!:yell:

at least he made the Pro Bowl unlike our latest 15 yard specialist: Lo Bro

he only went cause he was making big tackles and/or sacks and that is what his job was. Lo Bro seemed to have almost as many as 15 yarders w/o much productivity.

he was making big plays, and undermining shulas authority. he was disrupting the whole team!:yell:

I was actually talking more about Lo Bro  and his penchant for dumbass penalties ;)

Here is the latest on Pittman.....

Cardinals | Pittman Headed Out of Arizona? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
10:30 PT: The Arizona Republic reports the Arizona Cardinals may be ready to let RB Michael Pittman depart to another team via free agency. The Cardinals haven't made any effort to re-sign Pittman, an unrestricted free agent, according to his agent, Ken Kremer. The team is likely waiting to see Pittman's market value before making a move.

I say the Fins should look into this.

There is something with arrests and Arizona athletes. Jason Kidd (no longer there), Stephon Marbury, Michael Pittman, etc. But you can't hate on the Diamondbacks, they are clean and they beat the Yankees! I don't like them but they are still our saviors. :)

Trade for Jaguars’ Taylor a possibility

By Alex Marvez
Sun-Sentinel
Posted February 21 2002

DAVIE -- While the Dolphins remain interested in New Orleans running back Ricky Williams, an NFL source said Thursday both teams remain far apart in negotiations and that a trade for Jacksonville running back Fred Taylor is a more likely possibility.

The Dolphins believe the Saints are asking too much for Williams, who is on the trading block despite two consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons. The Dolphins are unwilling to swap their first- and third-round draft picks for Williams, which is the believed asking price, and don’t have a second-round selection to offer. The Dolphins traded that choice to Philadelphia during last April’s draft as part of a deal to select strong-side linebacker Morlon Greenwood in the third round.
