It give Miami 5 picks within the end of the third @ #90, #98, #101 and their 2 fourth round picks. Which is right in the heart of the draft where most of the Oline, Safety, DT and RB positions will be in abundance.

So you want to give away the 13th pick for less than it’s worth while giving away Ramsey for free?…. Doesn’t seem very smart
Well if also consider that your getting rid of his salary. That's about all your going to get. Just remember what Miami traded for him. It wasn't for much either. Can't have it your way all the time.
You’re not getting rid of anything. You are taking on a heavy dead cap hit by moving him, a 12 million loss this year to trade him. That’s besides the point though, that trade value is well short of the move up from 26 to 13 alone. It’s about a late 2nd or early 3rd short.
I know Ramsey may not be worth much but this trade is essentially sending Ramsey and a late 2nd or early 3rd to dump ramsey’s salary. You can frame it however you’d like but it’s an awful trade. You’d need a 2026 2nd or 3rd and again that just covers the trade from 13 to 26, if at that point you want to throw in Ramsey as a sweeter for free then fine but to take less than the trade from 26 to 13 is worth on top of Ramsey for free is just stupid. Need to get atleast full value of 13 to 26.

Yeah I’ve had my eye on him for a while but think he’s a pure tackle guy, not sure he could kick in to guard. Wouldn’t mind as a swing or insurance for Paul.
Please read again I don’t understand what you don’t get. Miami is trading 13 for 26, forget about ramsey fine he’s free. Miami is still not getting close to proper compensation for moving from 13 to 26.
This is the equivalent of Miami sending Ramsey, 99, 116 and 135 to take on ramseys salary because that’s what you are doing with this trade. Your giving up Ramsey for free while giving them additional value so do you think Ramsey and our 3rd and both 4th is a good trade for Miami to get rid of ramseys contract while taking on 12 million this year in negative cap?

Miami's cup runneth over with both Barron and Will Johnson still on the board. This is an ideal spot to trade down, but Miami takes the speedy Barron in this exercise. Johnson's ceiling may be high but his recent string of injuries is hard to overlook for a team that needs Day 1 production from this pick. Barron won the Jim Thorpe Award as college football's best defensive back last season, has good size for the position and can play both nickel and outside. He also ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, which will endear him to a team that values speed.

His talent is Mahomes esque.
Now if I’m the titans I would serious check that work ethic, and to me that’s his red flag.

Not to give Grier too much credit, lol, but it was probably his idea. Didn't want to be stuck having to take a 1st round CB with his job on the line. Or so I'd like to think anyway.
